Baja Mar Taco

Came in during a Monday lunch time and only waited like 5-10 min for my order to be ready. The staff was very courteous and has good attitude. It's a small and cozy but has enough seating area for you to enjoy your meal. The shrimp tacos was so delicious, just enough crunchiness. The tostada mixta was very fresh and had great taste. My favorite was the coctel campechano I ordered the small and it's very filling all of the ingredients felt very fresh! There's a self service salsa station so that's a plus, both salsas I tried were good. Overall 10/10 experience, will definitely return.

After years of saying I wanted to try it here. I finally went this past Wednesday. I ordered the shrimp and fish tacos and Al pastor tacos for the family. This place does not disappoint everything was great. Definitely recommended.

Trying this spot my daughter has been telling us about. They have a friendly service and good prices. It's a chill spot kinda hidden in a small shopping center like by papa John's. Everything was really good. They flavor was on point good portions to get full on. I ordered one taco to many my only complain would be the potato taco the potato needed a pinch more salt but with the green salsa and everything The asada had a good carbon taste In it it was stacked with meat sadly didn't make the picture because I forgot I ordered it The last thing was the shrimp cocktail.... wow full of flavor big and plumpy shrimps that were soft no need to add anything unless you wanted spicy. Will definitely be back. So glad they are nearby.

Fave taco place!! Go to comfort food: papas tacos, nachos, fish and shrimp tacos. Making my way through the menu. Service is always fast and friendly. Self service green and red salsas, pickled onions and lime slices, you'll have to ask for jalapeños.

The fish & shrimp tacos are so good, all though they could add a little more shrimp to the tacos, the only reason I notice it's because I checked it but because they bread it, it's hard to notice. But other than that it's good they put enough cabbage & all the xtra trimmings the purple onion & salsa is yummy the service is good they are nice & the wait ain't long, I love this spot it's my go to place & the potato tacos along with the spicy shrimp taco this spot is a mom & pop for sure in the city of pico it doesn't have much seating but it's a lil nice place to enjoy the food & go. I think I may have stumbled on one of the best fish tacos spot in LA. I've lived here my whole life and had my fair share of fish tacos, but the one of Baja Mar BLEW ME AWAY. They're located in a tiny strip mall on Rosemead Blvd, and I'm fortunate to have found this shop because my coworker mentioned he tried it while we were at another restaurant in the same strip mall (hint* I was eating chilaquiles). Pricing is very reasonable. I opted for the combo which came with a drink and rice + beans + 2 tacos. Service is very friendly and the staff speaks both English and Spanish! There's a small bar area where you can get self serve onions, limes, and a green or red salsa. Both are excellent and the perfect amount of heat. All plates come with my favorite grilled and seasoned yellow pepper. The tortilla is not too big or too small and is crisp around the edges but soft in the center. I liked this because it gave some structure to the taco, which we need because they do not skimp on fillings!!! My first bite of fish taco was heaven. All the fixings were the perfect ratio, almost too much but that's not a bad thing in this economy. The fish was crispy and perfectly cooked. The inside of the battered fish was soft and juicy. I practically inhaled my taco. I also got to try the carne asada which was also great! There was so much meat in one taco / definite bang for your buck! The rice and beans were tasty. I left feeling full and extremely satisfied. They have specials daily so come by to get some savings! The food is incredible and is very well priced so really, they do not even need the specials! I hope more people come by because there should be a line out the door. I can't wait to come back to try their shrimp!

Stopped by this little spot for a quick dinner with the family!! They were quick to tend to us and were very nice. The food was all delicious Come try it out if you're near the area. It's a small little spot in a little corner so pay attention so you don't miss it! To the business thank you for the hospitality and the Great food

I usually come here to get the spicy shrimp burrito but I haven't taken a photo yet of that one. Its always so good and packed with shrimp omg. Today I stopped by and got these giant nachos and two tacos+ large horchata for around 21.00 or so. The tacos were the monday special so take that into consideration.The service is always good here and inside its always clean so I can appreciate that. The photos speak for themselves!
