Ordered take out on a Friday around 11:30. Quick service. Picked up from the back entrance.Ordered a Thai tea it was good and sweet. Got the electric eel roll it was good. The baked salmon roll was good not too over cooked just right the salmon. The crunchy spicy tuna roll wasn't spicy. Bites size fairly big. All in all good for a one time try. I did see they had the robot who takes plates to your table so that's cool.

I came here to meet up a friend who recommended the place because of the different types of (Thai and Japanese) good food they had. I was not disappointed!It seems like the restaurant is sometimes a bar, as they had a huge selection of alcohol lined up along a wall in the back section. The outside of the restaurant was somewhat misleading as it was much bigger than it seemed. We were seated in the back side, and since there weren't that many people there around 8:30 on a Saturday night - we got to choose where we sat. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. We ordered what we wanted - I got the tom yum noodle soup and a roll to share; my friend ordered a small soup (forgot what it was) and some nigiri. My noodle soup was delicious as was the roll and the nigiri. Overall, I would definitely come back to try some of the other dishes.

This is the first restaurant I've seen making use of a robot as a table runner. It basically carried dishes out to the tables and the server would unload them at the table. Not sure it is helping them much but it was fun to watch. I love that they have a full bar here, there are not a lot of Thai food or Sushi restaurants (this is the first I've come across) that have full bars. So it was fun to try fresh Thai food and sushi with some of my favorite cocktails. I've so long associated Thai food with beer and sushi with sake... I'm not sure an Old Fashioned went well with Sushi but it was fun to try anyway. All the dishes we tried were great and the space is fun has a high energy vibe to it and a fair amount of TVs with sports on so it's almost like a sports bar with Thai and Sushi.

I used to eat at Bai Plu on 7th years ago and wouldn't have noticed this location unless I was roaming. The interior is very classy and has lots of seating. I found parking easily because it's located in the Los Altos neighborhood. I ordered the Lakers Roll, Large Sapporo, and Three Hand Rolls with Spicy Tuna, Spicy Albacore, and Spicy Salmon. The service was warm and attentive!
