Baekjeong - Torrance

Came back to Baekjeong in Torrance after a year for a friend's birthday, and it was just as great as I remembered! We ordered the large beef combo, pork jowl, and seafood pancake--everything was delicious. Of the three meats, the short rib stood out as the best, so if you're not getting a combo, I'd highly recommend it.Shoutout to Mei and Vince, who were amazing servers! They handled the meat with care and were super attentive, always checking in for ban chan refills and keeping the eggs and corn cheese topped off.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

The food was delicious and so fresh. The service was also amazing! Shout out to Leslie! Definitely have the fried brisket rice! It was wonderful with truffle!!!

I've been here a couple times now and it's always been great quality. They often get busy, so service is good for how busy they are. Plenty of parking in the huge lot that shared by other businesses. This is great for small groups or families. I wouldn't take a date here unless they love to eat. My only criticism is that the tables feel way too small for the amount of plates that get put on your table, so if you're in a group, your table will just be covered with small plates.

The beef was good but the pork was horrible. They are well known for their pork but it was not fresh at all. Very disappointing since their meat quality was horrible. Not worth of price for bad quality pork...

So I finally get to try this place. I've been wanting to see what all the hype is or is it legit with the quality of their food. The sides were great. The cuts of the meat was melt in your mouth delicious. We only had to wait for 15 minutes in comparison to the long wait I have heard about in their other locations such as the one in the Bay Area. I feel bad (I forgot his name, Nathan/ Ethan) helped cooked the various meats for us. He was pleasant and attentive. He made sure to ask how we wanted the food cooked. He even gave us a refill of the cheesy corn. Thanks for the great service and food for our first New Year's in Torrance. We enjoyed our meal and our stomaches are full.

Got the L combo for 3 people and it was the perfect size. Meat was good quality- staff cooks for you. Tons of free sides, which were all delicious! (The egg and corn cheese are free refills too)Their table fans(?) work really well-- I always expect to smell like meat after Korean BBQ but I didn't really smell afterwards! Impressive.

The meat quality and banchan were soo good! I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a non-ayce kbbq. A couple notes though: They do have air filters to get the smoke from the grill but your clothes will still smell like food after.They have a yelp waitlist when you get there which is nice so you don't have to sit outside to wait!

Best kbbq in southbay. We always go here at keast once a monts. Meat is always fresh.

My favorite kbbq place. Meat is always fresh and high quality. All server are nice. They will cook for you.

Food was great, ambiance was amazing. Marvin was a great server and super talkative.
