LOVED! From out of town and always want to try new places ~ believe the great reviews for this place! The cocktails are INSANE! Fun ambiance! There was a tad of a wait for the cocktails as it was busy and only one bartender...BUT they were worth the wait and made with pure heart. She is magician! So good!We had the burrata and olive pizza - 5/5Warm pretzel ~ 5/5 People Eater Sour ~ OMG! a must! 10/5Soda Shoppe ~ 5/5Glutton for Punishment ~ 5/5Highly recommend! TLDR: A down-to-earth yet trendy bar with a lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. Great for groups, casual date nights, or catching up with friends. Friendly staff, solid cocktails, and an inviting vibe make it a place worth checking out.-The energy here is just right--lively without being too noisy, full without feeling packed. Seating options range from barstools to booths, making it a great spot for groups of 2 to 10.-The bartenders are incredibly friendly. We were lucky to be served by Renée, who was super chill, warm, and helpful when we had questions about whiskeys and different drinks.-Huge variety of specialty cocktails to suit any taste. If you like whiskey, I'd recommend the "Soda Shoppe" ($18, 3.5/5). Lightly sweet, reminiscent of an Italian cream soda, with tarragon adding a fresh herbal note. A unique drink--worth trying but not a go-to for me.Would I Return? Absolutely. The staff is welcoming, and the vibe is alive yet relaxed. According to the staff, they have live jazz on Sundays, plus a few snack options and pizza I'll have to try next time. You should come check it out.

It was my first time at Baby Gee. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Baby Gee in Long Beach. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes without being acknowledged or served, despite there being bartenders present. No one offered assistance or even acknowledged my presence, which is unacceptable for any establishment that values customer service.I understand that bars can get busy, but basic attentiveness and professionalism should still be a priority. Unfortunately, after waiting so long with no service, I had no choice but to leave. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting decent service.

Came here since they were doing special drinks for the holidays. Easy finding parking. We parked in front of the building next door. They check IDs at the door and at the bar. Not a ton of holiday drinks, but we tried a couple things off the menu, one of which had a blinking light at the bottom of the glass. A lot of their usual drinks looked pretty good though. It's a divey ish space. Most tables were taken so we sat at the bar. Looked like you can bring your own food here as we saw one group having a potluck. I did like all the Christmas decor. Tons of vintage stuff too.Staff was nice. Friendly too. Good vibes!

Dropped in on a very busy Valentine's Day and could not have picked a better spot. I've raved about the cocktails on here before, but the service at Baby Gee can't be beat by any bar (or any business, for that matter) in Long Beach. Bartenders and barbacks are all friendly, attentive, fast, and knowledgeable. We watched one of the owners train a new bartender and they were both so calm and professional you could hardly tell the guy was still learning how to make one of the seasonal signatures. As always the flavors here are unlike anything I've experienced and the vibes are immaculate. Grab a punchcard and fill it out.

I recently had a birthday (big ups my December brethren!) and told all my friends to find me at Baby Gee. It was pure magic. I loved the decor, the fake snow outside, the cozy ambiance. The drinks were tasty however they took a bit (like 15 minutes) to order. The people who work here are very friendly. I ordered some hot honey pepperoni pizza to share with friends. Super yummy! A bar with snacks?!? Yes, please! Parking in these parts of Long Beach is not easy. You have to understand this. It comes with the territory. We only looped around the area once and found parking a couple blocks away. Some of my friends were fortunate to find prime parking right in front. Some just got a ride service.

What a fun spot! We went to dinner nearby and the server recommended Baby Gee! I am so glad he did- because we had a great time. This is clearly a neighborhood favorite. There was a lot of people inside but I never felt cramped. Luckily after we ordered our drinks a couple spots opened up for us to sit. It is currently decorated with Christmas decor and THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SNOW MACHINE OUTSIDE. Awesome. The bar staff is nice and so efficient. They have a wide array of cocktails. Very creative! Please note: their online menu is not up to date.

Baby Gee's is a romantic cocktail bar in the gayborhood. The pink neon light creates a moody atmosphere, perfect for a date or girls night. Baby Gee's is adorned with hand-painted works, unique sculptures, and friendly staff. The place feels inherently queer, so I felt very comfortable there. I ordered two glasses of wine and some olive 'za, all came quickly and were a delight. One note is that Baby Gee's is a pretty small (and popular) space, so it's not the best space for groups over 4 due to seating options. Another thing to note is that all of their restrooms are gender neutral, which I appreciate.

Had a reservation at another place but had a little time so checked out this bar. It was a Friday night and it was busy. They had live music and the band was raising money for the fire victims. They were really good too. The bartenders were friendly and we found a spot by the back- where the band was located. It seems like a really cute local bar.

Baby Gee is a really cool place. Very unique cocktails in small and beautiful space. Had a great mezcal-based Dark and Stormy for $10 at happy hour. Friendly, fast service and expert bartending. Amazing spot.
