We went here since we were in the area for another appointment and my son wanted pizza. It's very close to Porto's, which was a nice surprise, and on this Thursday evening, they were also having some type of street fair, so it was fairly busy the night we arrived.Anyway, the pepperoni pizza was $24 and you can add a topping for $2, which might seem high if you compare it to dominos or some other fast food pizza place, but their pizza was so much better and it was also pretty large for that price. They do sell pizza by the slice, but for the 3 of us, it made more sense to buy the whole pie and take the leftover home.Anyway, I really enjoyed this pizza and would definitely go back if we're nearby. I would say that it was a little on the salty side, and I only say that since when we finished, I was starving for water, but it was definitely delicious. Also, I thought service was nice overall and this is a place we would definitely go back on a regular basis if it were closer.

Amazing pizza. It reminds me if Bronx pizza in San diego.It's nice to have something tasty like this nearby.The strawberry lemonade taste magical when you eat it with the pizza.I ordered 2 pizza slices pepperoni n jalapeño n it was perfect. Esp the 2nd slice it was more thick.I think it's important to tell them you want the crust thick and not so thin. But I loved it for my first try and will be back again.

As a fellow Downey resident. I had a long day and decided to have a midnight snack. Needless to say I had the worst experience ever. Here's my Suggestion, Don't go there after midnight because you will encounter women that wanna fight you including the female owner of this place. She wasn't very friendly and very judgmental. Came in like she was god and encouraged her little friends to talk shit. Even though them girls didn't buy food and were there to think they owned the place. I will never buy from this establishment, not because pizza wasn't good but because owners need to respect customers. I will spend my money elsewhere.

This place is bomb. Incredible delicious beautiful place to eat a pizza at or get it to go. I have nostalgia of a great pizza place in Highland Park (Figueroa and York) named Luigi's Pizza. No longer there but it does live in my brain as a delicious pizza place as a young kid. This place has rekindled my brain cells as this pizza tastes just like Luigi's pizza and is just as good. Oh, they have beer on tap and wine. They have a big screen tv (they should make it larger) so you can watch a sports game while you eat a delicious pizza and drink an ice cold beer. Living in Downey I can say that I wasn't too impressed with another pizza place opening since for me Shakeys is the place (yea yea you may judge my pizza taste buds from this) but I had no choice but to try it since my daughter Daisy had her bday surprise party here. My wife set it up and my minds eye had a vision of how the place must look. Big was I wrong. This place is incredible. This may be my new place to chill and have a beer. The ambience is very nice and it's super clean. Finally let me say TRY THIS PLACE OUT. It really is a great place to get your grub and beer on.

The service was friendly. The decor, hours, and use of space is five star. Food wise, the pizza was okay. The flavors were there, but unfortunately, very soggy and greasy. You definitely cannot paper-plane the pizza without the ingredients slipping off. Tried their Short-rib empanada and, well, it was just okay. If you intend to offer empanadas that are rather dry, I recommend a good aioli or dipping salsa. I'd return to try a whole pie just to taste the difference of a single reheated slice. I did enjoy their chilled Gaucho Pilsner (Ode of the Guacho of Argentina).

Saturday late night munchies and I wanted a really good and tasty Pizza. Ordered a large margarita pizza and added Pepperoni think it took about 50 min to arrive but I think that's normal since it was late. The driver got it right when it came out so when it was delivered it was still warm. Not Hot but that's what my air fryer is for. Let me tell you it was the most flavorfulPizza I've had delivered in a very long time. It was delicious and I only wish I could have eaten more than 2 slices. The sauce was so flavorful and the crust so soft think and crunchy if that makes sense. This will be my go to for Pizza delivery from now on!

Great whole in the wall pizza place for a small or large bite and you can buy pizza by the slice or a whole pie! The Hawaiian pizza was soooo yummy. The pizza had a good balance of cheese and sauce. FYI, they do need to heat your slices so make sure to give yourself plenty of time or place a pre-order. Overall the vibe was chill and a great place to have a drink and food. Despite being busy on a weekday night, Marco and the pizza chef were attentive to our needs and went above and beyond. Thank you, thank you. I look forward to visiting again and ordering a whole pie.

Last time I hit them up they changed their happy hour deals not worth it with current deals

I remember getting dropped off here when I was a teenager with $5 so I can watch a movie. That just sounds so unreal. I had many make out sessions here. It was so sad to be closed down for so long but it's back today ! It's a New York style pizza, spot beautifully done ! Walk down the hall and a secret speakeasy called Besso in the back . It's open till 3 o'clock perfect in a neighborhood full of nightclubs, lounges and karaoke clubs.Come soak up all your alcohol with late night New York style pizza. It's delicious. This is not the old Downey. Five stars.

I was in the area and went back to grab a couple more slices. They mentioned the White Pizza was the most popular, so I tried it again and this time it tasted even better than the first time. The service can be a little slow since they get busy at times, but everyone is very attentive and friendly.
