Avenue 3 Pizza & Subs

This is about my childhood. I grew going to the Avenue 3 in Cerritos. After a few owners who kept it very similar they went rogue. This one brings me home again. Probably like a dive bar to most but to me the sauce and overall flavors are awesome. I should have come here a long time ago.

Worst pizza in LB! The crust tasted like saltine crackers without the salt. The rootbeer and ice was good. The service was fine and the ambiance is where old men go to sit and drink beer. The facilities are sooooo run down.

The food is trash, the only thing worth while is getting the beers. Place is dirty, food is really bad. Wings are so un appetizing. God good.

It's the best hole in the wall pizza house in Long Beach, by no means nothing fancy on the inside but it's a down to earth business..The pizza is good and the beer is cold .Charlie and shorty are the best !

Carlie is the king of the pizza soccer vibe where the firemen have thier beer after putting out Godzilla's fireworks. And the haves pool table and outside and great pasta too

During this pandemic, I am so glad I found this place. I thought I took a time machine and went back in time during the 80s. This place is like "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. The gentlemen in the front....gentlemen with a "J" made my visit so pleasant!!!! As you can see...we finished the pizza in 10 minutes.

What happened to this place????No flavor,crust that may break a tooth it was so hard!!!

They have very good pizza. One of the best in Southern California. I would have given them 5 stars but when I ask for extra cheese there don't seem to be extra cheese on the pizza. If this is extra cheese I wonder what the regular amount of cheese is. Next time I order I'll get to the bottom of this.

The pizza is not good. It was the worst pizza I ever had! The crust was very thin, hard, and tasted like flour. The salad was wilted, and the garlic bread was oily. I heard the pizza was great, but not anymore. The guy that took my order knows nothing and was unhelpful.

I would give no stars.. service is horrible.. I went for lunch with my family and at 2 in the afternoon they had nothing but cheese sticks.. and as my family and I left after paying out bill of ONLY CHEESE STICKS TO EAT.. one of the employees chased us out saying we didn't pay our bill while I had my receipt in my had.. never again will I spend my money here nor my time.. I hope a better owner buys you out..crappy service
