This USE to be our spot. I'm here now and received cold food and ATTITUDE, asked for food to be warm and ATTITUDE. Showed my man the can of beer I got him from local brewery and the rude person said YOU CANNOT HAVE THAT HERE - it's 11am I was just showing him not drinking. The prices are out of control and truth be told I'd go to my other spot downtown before here - moving forward. Sad and there must be new owners!!!Get it together AURA THAI

Love their pad Thai with chicken and extra tofu. Some places are bland, but not Aura.

Yet another amazing trip to Aura Thai. Absolutely loved the yellow curry. It had a wonderful sweet yet spicy flavor to it. It was just what I was looking for on this day!The LARGE thai iced tea. Folks, it's served in a doggon vase. It is large lolThanks Chris for a great lunch at your place

This review is going to hurt. Because the customer service is 5/5. But the food is 1/5. 1 star for good flavoring. The rest is pretty bad. The drunken noodles were so stuck to each other it was just a pile of goop that formed to the plate. The only way to eat it was to cut up chunks of it at a time like it was jello. Although ordering it with meat, the dish was filled with veggies for more than half the space.

I've had a decent experience with Aura Thai. The ambiance is like a little cafe in a little shopping plaza. It's cozy. The service is 10/10 & the food is just as tasty. I've always passed by the restaurant and didn't try them out until a year ago.I've ordered the classic Thai dishes like Penang curry, duck curry, Pad Thai, Tom kha soup etc. They're made at a decent pace. I do notice the food is more Thai-Chinese leaning given their menu. Nothing bad to write about. I haven't tried the other dishes much. For the other reviews complaining about price, it's important to note how third parties will tack on extra fees and $ to get a profit. SoIf you're trying to save it's always best to order directly over the phone with the restaurant. Also cash is always king. When it comes to owning a restaurant you have to look at their expenses: real estate, inflation, supply vs demand etc. Bixby knolls years ago was empty, now it's bustling with many restaurants. I'm sure their rent has gone up too.I will agree yes, eating out is expensive and dishes do add up !

I've been coming to aura Thai for years and it's been a bit since I've ordered from here but I was shocked with the prices now. I ordered four dishes for pick up and they came out to $70 total not including tip. The food isn't bad but it isn't great either so it's definitely not worth the price. I ordered a fried rice, chow mein and 2 glass noodle salads. I thought it would be about $55 or so. I usually spend $50 for pho for fam of 5 (3 of which are children) or $80 at my favorite Thai place for 6 different plates. I don't think I'll be back

Delivery food ordered. Received Won Ton Soup, Curry Chicken, Pad Thai Noodles and Thai Ice Tea.All were delicious, no complaints. I gave this place 4 of 5 stars since I did not actually dine at this location. I was not able to experience the full vibe.Food is delicious which is all that mattered. Serving size is decent. Since the food was so good, I actually wanted more and was not satisfied by the serving size provided.

This restaurant is a bit of a hole in the wall Thai place in Long Beach. Came on a Thursday night and dined in with no wait. The food overall was just ok compared to the many other options for Thai in Long Beach. I ordered the Thai Basil fried rice and it just tasted like regular fried rice, no Thai basil flavor at all like I'm used to with this dish. I tasted the Tom Kha soup and it was actually really good and full of flavor. The firecracker wings had great flavor and crunch, only downfall is that the wings had a lot of fat on them. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back but the food was ok!

This is now, by far, one of our top Thai spots! Their staff is always friendly and courteous and their food is delicious. Their food is always so consistent and there's never a second guess on how it will be when we order. We love getting their pad thai and pad see ew. It's always very good. Keep it up Aura Thai!!!

A few days ago I stopped here for a bite and discovered the amazing firecracker wings. They were so good couldn't wait to go back and see if it were just a fluke or if they really were all that. Well, they didn't disappoint. To each is own. Maybe you've had better at plenty of other places, but for me they were easily....by a country mile....the best wings I've ever had...in my life. If you're a fan of wings, get the heck over there and get some of the awesomeness!
