Auggie's Bar & Grill

Augies Bar & Grill has been one of my favorite spots to watch sports while drinking a beer and grabbing a bite from Mariscos Los Laras (IG MariscosLosLaras). This restaurant is located inside Augies Bar & Grill, and their menu consists of mariscos and Mexican food, although they offer wings and fries. Today, I came with a friend to witness the Dodgers win and see Shohei Ohtani hit his 51st home run and steal his 51st base. The ambiance was calm for this Thursday afternoon, but the music Playlist was on point. The bartenders were beautiful as always and attentive to our needs. After a couple of cold Pacifico beers, my friend and I got hungry and decided to order some aguachiles verdes and two tacos governador. Our order took a little longer than expected (Approximately 20 minutes), but we understood because the owner had barely opened his restaurant when we ordered. The aguachiles came first because they were not hard to prepare and looked delicious. Unfortunately, I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of my plate midway through. The plate had a good amount of shrimp marinated in spicy lime sauce, slices of avocado, red onions, cucumber, and about 3 to 4 tostadas served inside a plastic bag. Overall, this plate is perfect to satisfy your appetite temporarily.About 10 minutes later, the tacos governador plate came out with a slice of lime and a sauce that is hard to describe, but it was really good. The taco was cheesy and had plenty of shrimp for the traditional tortilla. The type of salsa they serve it with complements the governador and is delicious. In conclusion, I will continue to come here because of their sports ambiance, cold beers, beautiful bartenders providing excellent customer service, and Mariscos Los Laras serving delicious food.

I'm going to review the food part of Auggies since that's all we go for. The food always hits. Their specialty is the ceviches and aguachiles. Every time we've come here we can easily join tables and have a decent sized group of people get serviced. They are very friendly and helpful. That being said it seems they are always short people in the kitchen cause the food can take a while to come out. So be patient and understanding with them. The bartenders are always nice and attentive. They have TV's and usually always have games going on. As well as a jukebox you can play music from. The space is pretty big inside and doesn't feel crowded. The parking is the opposite. It's small and shared so it can get tricky. Other than that no complaints.

As an update to my previous review. The owner reached out and I was able to explain my point of view of the business optics. The food was great and that was never the issue. She seemed solution oriented and wanted to make it right. She took the criticism in stride and offered us a comped tray which was equally delish. Thanks for listening and appreciating your customers.

We had time to spare in between 12 yr old boy basketball games & landed at Auggies. I do not understand the poor reviews for service as we had a great experience. The servers were very sweet & attentive although they wear very revealing bottoms but our boys seemed to be more interested in their phones the food took awhile but the tacos were delicious & we left with very full stomachs.

It's a very fun and calm bar, lots of fun people and great music! The service was very good as well as the drinks. I will be back to check it out again !!

Bomb ass tacos gobernador and music is dope on Thursdays come here with my girls have some beers and enjoy a good time

Smells like straight ass when you walk in , and they only serve beer . Service was terrible. Very rude server

Worst Customer service. Got over charged for drinks by the drunk bartender don't recommend you to come to this place. The bartenders made my wife feel so uncomfortable. And fyi as soon as you sit on the stool it smells straight out ****.

Bartender with the deformed ass is rude her name is rose . Walked in today and waited for more than 30 minutes she never looked at me or asked me what she could get me. All she was doing was talking ignored us and not even acknowledge we were there. Walked out never coming back . 0 stars do not recommend and it smells horrible in there. Food must be not sanitary.
