Wow the food here was super good! Normally I prefer Middle Eastern food over Greek food but the Greek food here was top notch and super flavorful! I ordered the 2 kebab plate for $16.99 and paid the $2.50 up charge to get a steak kebab in addition to the chicken kebab. Both kebabs were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The steak was medium and tender and not overcooked at all - it was perfect! I also liked how there were red peppers and onions layered with the kebab. So tasty! The chicken was also perfect. The stars of the show in addition to the kebabs were the side dishes that came with it: orzo pasta (DELICIOUS!), tzatziki sauce (oh soooo flavorful! I wiped the container clean it was so good!), and a really delicious greek salad with kalamata olives, feta cheese, onions, cucumbers, a peppercini and lettuce with a really yummy dressing. They had multiple slices of pita bread as well which was soft and super fresh. Overall, this was a super delicious meal and I think this restaurant deserves 5 stars. I will FOR SURE come back here! I also noticed many people getting takeout too. There's plenty of seating inside and they give free cups for water. The ambiance is casual but nice. I'm so glad I tried this restaurant and can't wait to return!

I recently received a 10% off coupon and decided to give Athens West a try for the first time. I ordered the Veggie Teaser appetizer and two Lamb-O-Rama Pita gyros. Here's my take:Appetizer (Veggie Teaser): - Pros: The dolmas were fresh and flavorful, and the spanakopita had a perfect crispy texture. - Cons: The falafel was a bit dry, and the hummus, while flavorful, was quite thick and had a heavy garlic taste that might not appeal to everyone.Lamb-O-Rama Pita Gyros: - Pros: The lamb was juicy and tender, and the pita was soft and warm, making for a satisfying bite. - Cons: The red onions were cut into large pieces and raw, which overwhelmed the other flavors. The lettuce was a bit soggy, and the tomatoes weren't as fresh as I had hoped.Overall, I enjoyed the flavors, but there were a few ingredients that didn't quite hit the mark. The freshness of the lamb and the texture of the pita definitely stood out, though. I'd likely return to try more, but maybe with a few adjustments to the toppings!

Great value for the food. Everything tasted good, but I've had better mediterranean food. They also have no garlic sauce! Chicken and beef could be bigger pieces.

I was gait with my meal and went to get a second soda, but I noticed some dirt build up on the counter and decided to take a closer look. What I found was appalling. The soda fountain looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. It has syrup, dirt, rust, and what looks like mold on the underside where the dispensers are. The service was pleasant and the location is convenient. This along with good food is why I'm giving it a 2 star and not a 1 star rating. As to the cleanliness, this is a failure.

I had a reason to celebrate the holidays early and needed to feed 15 people. We love Athens West and they offer catering! We had an amazing meal of skewers, gyro, orzo, pita, falafel, hummus, spicy feta and Greek salad! We live close so we picked up. When I got home, I tossed the salad and called everyone to grab a plate. Everything was self contained and oh so easy! I got rave reviews from my guests and we have been eating leftovers for two more days! Perfection! Thank you Athens West!

I usually order their lamb chops three pieces with salad . I asked them always to separate the sauce

I ate here in the past and didn't have any issues, but I saw a giant cockroach my last visit. I was sitting in the booth by the door and it was between me and the cashier. The employee's seemed embarrassed and killed it but I can't go back.

We popped into Athens West after a football game and we're immediately greeted by a smiling teenage boy behind the register. He was genuinely happy to serve us and ensured our order was correct when placing it. The location has ample seating inside and out, and is stocked with napkins, straws, and water cups for self serve water on the counter which I loved! They have a one person bathroom in the back of the store that was clean and well stocked. When our food arrived the same boy who took our order at the register carried it to our table. Overall the service was excellent, the food delicious, and the quality great. We will absolutely be returning!! Our kids gobbled up the Gyro meat, and my husband and I enjoyed a Gyro sandwich with a generous salad and fries. So yummy!!!!

What does a funnel encounter about the Greek food and I'm a fast food place food is incredibly healthy. I ordered the steak pizza without onions and I ordered a side salad and then I did not regret it. I only regretted not ordering two of them. They also have a really cute order and pay kiosk Free similar to larger fast food chains. The seating is very comfortable and I found the staff to be really cool. They offer a unisex bathroom with a lock door, but I will tell you give them a little bit of time because they're incredibly popular and obviously, for a very good reason the food is fresh. It's delicious And I'm super thankful that I stopped by

Always good, reliable takeout Greek food. We get the gyro platters and it's nice that they have orzo instead of plain rice or even pilaf. The meat is pretty rich (aka don't come here thinking this is lean) and I wish they had baba ganoush, but it's an easy, inexpensive, and quick go-to spot.
