Great local coffee shop with a full breakfast menu to go along with your morning cup of joe. Plenty of seating both inside and outside for a social gathering. The baristas are always friendly and helpful with the menu. I love this 2nd street spot!

Good food, coffee, plenty of seating, and friendly staff. Giving 3 stars though as the wifi here is absolutely trash and the bathrooms could be slightly cleaner. I do not recommend coming here to get any internet based work done. It took about 3 minutes for speedtest to load. Once it did it showed speeds are roughly at 2Mbps and not up to what I think a modern cafe should offer. Every webpage takes a minute to load. For better wifi I recommend any other coffee shop on 2nd street.

The ordering online system was down so we walked in to place the order. We got a couple blueberry and everything bagels to eat later. Then my sister and I ordered breakfast. I got the fit bagel: egg whites, avocado, tomato, black pepper, and added turkey. Just okay. Not the most flavorful. I get that I chose something lean/healthy but it was nothing to write home about. My sister got Uova Benedetto: poached egg, prosciutto, pesto, provolone on focaccia. Decent. Also nothing to write home about. The bagels themselves were just okay. It's hard to find good bagels on the west coast but Philz honestly tasted better.Service was okay. They're friendly if you're a regular and not so much if you aren't...It's a busy place though. Kinda cramped when they're busy. So we walked to get smoothies while waiting for our food. I'd come back to try their coffee or pizza since those items seemed more highly rated. But I'm not running to come back.

This cozy neighborhood gem is the ultimate spot for a delicious breakfast. With its amazing coffee options and tasty menu featuring protein bowls and yogurt, it's definitely one of my top picks for breakfast. Outdoor seating is great for people watching

I come here all the time for their sexy bagel!! It's the best every time and so so good, highly recommend trying it! Everyone here is always so nice and friendly. I would say it's decently crowded whenever I go no matter the time or day and they always have soccer on!

Been here more times then I can remember and liked most of the things I've tried. The panini and pizza are my fave. The ice cream isn't bad and the drinks are tasty too.Tried the cinnamon roll even.Definitely one of my faves in the seal beach / Long Beach neighboring regions. Some street parking locally.Worth a try service isn't slow either and you can order ahead. Lots of seating too for dining in

For this visit I only got my go-to Caramel Machiavelli. But this place is for more than just coffee!Aroma Di Roma is my favorite cafe on 2nd street. Its great for to-go orders or sit down meals. The breakfast panini is unreal and never fails to hit the spot. But they have a vast menu no matter what you're in the mood for.I also commonly see people studying or just having a beer watching a soccer game. Last but not least the workers are always super polite and friendly. Great spot!

Came here with a friend before we had to go to a food event and whatever I had was amazing. It was on their seasonal drinks list and it was so light and very unique. Good thing i read the description though because I was watching the barista making it and I noticed there was no chocolate foam on it. I asked her about it and she forgot and was super nice about. She said she can't keep track of all the seasonal drinks since they just introduced it. She was very sweet about it and apologized a lot. The drink was amazing.

My new favorite coffee shop on 2nd street. I'm big on Italian food and coffee in general so when I first decided to frolick my way in, I stayed for hours sipping on my cafe au lait. Cannoli's, sandwiches, paninis... they have it all for you. LOADS of specialty coffee drinks that I've yet to try. Recently, I got the caffe Machiavelli which hit me like a truck because of how sweet it was. Old me would have loved it, but I'm sure y'all would love this deliciously sweet coffee. Their cannolis are amazing too; I'm betting their other pastries are just as good. The aura. I can spend hours here writing or reading. I already did. If I want my mornings to feel more lively, I come here to get my day started. Nothing beats the lively conversations, the sights, sounds, and smells of coffee being prepared, and the general Italy of it all. The staff here are super helpful and accommodating. 10/10 bene
