Love love their food there and what's more-they have amazing desserts.I always come here for their pizza. We'd get the issuance and salami (spicy), calamari, and branzino. Their squid ink is also so-all of the items that we'd tried on the menu is good...The gelato is more creamier than what most other places and their panna cotta is more jello...but it's good. I would just come back for the dessert. Service-depends when you come and who you gets if you come during lunch or dinner, service is great but when we came in between these two periods-it was a bit harder to get a hold of our server (maybe because we sat outdoor).

The italian food here always hits. You can definitely taste the freshness of the pasta and the pizza. First of all the service was great for us as we were constantly checked on and food came pretty quickly. I would opt for tap water if they ask for still or sparkling because it does come with an outrageous $10 charge. The pizzas are incredible. The dough has a nice bite to it. We also love how they provide a side of olive oil. We would just use that to dip our crust in. We also ordered their pappardelle with pork, which was delicious with a generous serving of pork, and their taglierini that comes with shrimp and clams. This was a great dish and perfectly cooked pasta. I did have a clam that wasn't opened, but other than that, the pasta was good. The shrimp was also nice and tender. The restaurant does get pretty dark at night but the ambience is nice. I just wish it can be a tad brighter. Also, the food is quite expensive. It's a good place to go for celebrations or date nights.

Came here for my aunts birthday lunch. The ambiance is great. Here's what we ordered. Cesar salad: 8/10 good flavor but lacked dressing. Needed to be tossed with more dressing. Dell'orto salad: 7/10 again, needed more dressing.Melanzane alla Parmigiana: 9/10 BEST dish we had overall. This is an al le cart item but delicious. Penne Al Pomodoro e Basilico: 8/10 meatballs were soft. Sauce is decent. It was good. Lentil soup: 8/10 served nice and hot. Delicious. Risotto al Limone con Gamberi e Asparagi: 9/10 delicious. One of our top favorites. We will definitely be back to try new things. Our server was nice and helpful.

Ambiance - Tables are spaced well from each other so that conversations can't be heard by other patrons. Nice, clean, classy and modern.Service - very good service. Our server was funny and checked on us frequently.Food - two in our party ordered the bucatini and three ordered the lasagna. The menu indicated that the lasagna had bechamel sauce. I barely saw or tasted it. It was served very hot on a skillet. It tasted very tomato-ey and did not seem to have any meat in it. It tasted ok but it seemed like it was just layers of pasta and sauce. I definitely preferred the lasagna at I'll Fornaio. Our friends thought the bucatini tasted ok. We also ordered a pizza (can't remember which one). It had a thin crust and was very good.Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I had so much anticipation to try this place based on the high reviews. I'm a little disappointed.

It was good, I don't know about $30 each personal style Margherita pizza good...but you can be the judge.They do use quality ingredients. Pizza is very thin, but I don't think I'll be back...prices are pretty gnarly.

We stopped for an early dinner at Angelina's in Irvine. The ambiance was pleasant and the background music alive and motivational. Marcelo was our outstanding server and bartender. We started with a glass of Barolo Vino and the polpette al sugo (meatbals)l and focaccia bread appetizer which was delicious. Next we decided to try the melanzane alla parmigiana (eggplant) appetizer which was also fantastic. Marcelo was attentive and quite professional. We then ordered entrees with my wife having the penne al pomodoro e basilico with meatballs and I had the fettuccine bolognese.The food, service and ambiance was excellent. Highly recommended.

We came here on a Sunday evening and it was surprisingly not busy at all. The interior of this place is super modern and clean. Beautiful bar section. We ordered the calamari fritter, and burrata e tartufo pizza and the calabrese pizza. The calamari was very good, the batter was on the lighter side. If you like your calamari super crispy I'd say pass but we enjoyed the light batter. Solid 8/10 The calabrese pizza was okay. Great flavors but the sauce they put on was just too much, and the pizza turned out soggy and hard to eat. The spicy sausages on this pizza were delicious. I wish they put less sauce on this one because the flavors were good, but it was just hard to eat because of how wet the pie was. 6.5/10 The burrata e tartufo pizza was delicious. Everything stayed on the slice, and the flavors all worked. The burrata cheese and the black truffles make this pie so rich in flavor without any sauce and the cherry tomatoes, basil and arugula give it that slight sweetness and bitterness that offsets the richness. I'd come back just to order this pizza again. 9.5/10

1st of all Huge shoutout to Marcelo. He was our server/waiter table person and 2nd pizza is the friking bomb . Com. Spicy Diavola . Recommend to order more than 1 pizza, you can take any left overs. Parking is sucky but worth the hassle.

The pizza is soooo good I love the pizza!!! The bread is unlike any other pizza place I've tried. It's so worth the price and the ambiance is fancy but also laid back!
