Ambrose Pizzeria

We stopped by for lunch during the week recently and found Ambrose Pizza to be very welcoming. It was also very busy! The ambiance is right up my alley too reminiscent of how Shakey's Pizza used to look in the 80's. To save time we were encouraged to order online right from our seats in the restaurant. I ordered a turkey sandwich and drink and it was ready quickly. The turkey was fresh and the bread was fresh as well.Reasonable prices too. I'll be back for pizza soon!Plenty of parking outside. Whole heartedly a love and bias for Ambrose. Take that in consideration for why I gave my experience a 5 start. Because I love their food, their location. We Wifey and I can here for lunch. I wanted a sandwich and was thinking of those other joints. She suggested Ambrose and boy was she right. We both had the Italian Club. Ok you may argue too much lettuce, not enough meat. I say opposite. Love the thing sliced lettuce. The meats in the sandwich are plentiful and tasty. But the star and it has been for decades is the bread. The right composition of softness in the crust , firm middle and wonderful taste. The bread recipe is regional treasure. The staff has changed in 20 plus years but service still makes this feel like a local hangout. Keep going Ambrose I will keep being a loyal fan.

Sooo good I have been coming here for years . I normally get the pastrami pizza with extra ranch . Make sure if you get this pizza ask for the one that has pickles because they also do go in with just a pastrami by itself. I order typically just place an order and it's ready within 20 to 25 minutes. Did you have a lot of space if you wanna eat there and different types of pizza and I really get by the slice just because I'm the only one that likes pastrami but they have small medium large slice and they're pretty generous with their slices. They can get pretty busy on the weekends or during a game .

My dad started coming here with his parents many years ago, then as he got older he started bringing me and my brother here(we were little kids). Now, I'm happy to share that me and my husband regularly bring our kids here as well. That makes generation 4 of our family that loves Ambrose. From the fantastic pizza to my favorite antipasto salad. The food is great not to mention the family feel of the place, feels like home. They have always treated us well.

Pizza, Fettuccine Alfredo and the salad are always good even the Ranch Dressing is delicious! Workers are friendly and polite every time I have dealt with them in person and over the phone.

Everything! If you're going to sell crap then at least make a part of your advertisement.

Love their Pizza. Used to live in LA Mirada but moved to Norwalk. We did Doordash watching football and wanted a good pizza from Ambrose! Thank you!

We have our pizza place!! Recommend the Brooklyn style crust since I think the reg style is a bit bready for my taste. Awesome pizza! The hot club is crazy good if you're up for a sandwich.

It's been a while that I've been to Ambrose but I have to say that their sandwiches are so delicious and very filling. You won't be disappointed. Dauuum good!
