This was one of my favorite local liquor stores to stop into. They carried pucker up lemonade which hails from Compton and is also a black-owned business. *Pucker up comes in 30+ flavors and is heavenly, please seek them out.The owner of Ambassador was always a sweetheart, remembered me and my SO, and treated us like family.Then one day it just... Closed. =(So here's my review, albeit bittersweet.

Great selection of quality spirits, brews and beverages. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful service. Clean upscale relaxing store environment.

I don't remember how I heard about Ambassador Liquor, but I'm happy I found it. It's not a big store, but they carry so many Black owned booze brands. Yes, there are quite a bit of Black owned booze brands. They had Uncle Nearest and Brough Brothers bourbon and wines from John Legend, Brown Estate, Mary J. Blige, and McBride Sisters. I had to tear myself away because I wanted to buy it all!The service is on point and, yeah, I'll gladly make the drive from Irvine to keep my bar stocked.Oh! They also have legit food trucks in front.

Love this place! I come for the rap snacks and always discover a new beverage to partake in. Amazing spot!

Visited Ambassador Liquor for the first time this weekend and my experience was AMAZING. Never thought I'd say that about going to a liquor store lol.Al, the owner gives you a personal welcome and a quick mini tour of the hot/most wanted/latest and greatest items. I came to purchase the new Cali Red wine by Snoop Dogg and in the back of my mind I was worried it would be sold out. But nope to my surprise it wasn't! He has all the items I've been hunting for in stock too. I picked up 5 bags of the Rap Snacks and a few of the Rap Snack noodles. I've already referred several people and will be a return customer.

Super clean, nice, modern, STOCKED, and friendly. I walk past here every day and sometimes walk in. It's just a nice business with great pride.ALSO, It is NOT cash only. I read that in another review that gave them 3 stars. I paid with my card for a bag of chips.

My favorite liquor store. Great selection! Very helpful and knowledgeable people. I'll definitely be back.
