Aloha Stacks

I came here a few days ago with some friends. They opted to try this place as they don't have this where they're from. We went around 10, and there was no line. I've been here on the weekends and it's pretty packed. There was a line out the door. We ordered pretty fast. And the food came out about 15 minutes later. I got the eggs Benedict which was pretty good. My friend's got the breakfast tots which were crunchy and delicious. My other friend got the spicy chicken waffles. The chicken wasn't that spicy. All in all it was very delicious!

Dined for brunch for the first time here and it wasn't what I expected. The ordering system and seating system didn't align right. You order your food and pay at the register then find your seat. However, this place is always packed so there isn't much seats available. Line to order your food moved quicker than seats becoming available. Luckily we found a seat right after we ordered so we switched out to go order to dine in.I ordered the Katsu Loco Moco and my husband ordered the Oxtail Loco Moco.Both were alright. Gravy was very salty. Lots of rice but not enough gravy. Arent loco mocos supposed to be drenched in gravy? We lifted out eggs on both dishes and no gravy on the meat or rice, just around the plate. Oxtail was overcooked and dry. My husband was not a fan.Also, they switched out egg order on our dishes. I ordered over medium and he ordered over easy.I will say that the macadamia nut waffle was probably the best item we ordered.

A taste of Hawaii in Cerritos, California!! Aloha!!!! Doesn't quite feel like you are in Hawaii when you step through their doors. They sure are a popular place for breakfast. We were a group of 5, and there were no tables available for us when we arrived. So while three of us went in line to place our orders at the counter, the other two waited for a table to be available. Fortunately within 10 minutes a table opened up for us. The Captain Mac Nut French Toast that I ordered was very good! Probably the best French Toast that I have ever had the pleasure to eat in my entire existence!! Got to try a bit of other food that the family ordered. The Buttermilk pancakes were decent. The Chicken Katsu Loco Moco was pretty good. The Ube Coconut Pancakes were alright. That French Toast that I ordered is worth coming back for again and again and again!!! Til next time! Aloha!!!!

The prices and portions are all so fair and well-priced. We tried the Kalua Pork and Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes and it was the perfect sweet and savory. The orders came out very fast and it was busy but not too busy on a weekend morning. The restaurant is very clean and a good casual spot for breakfast. ig: @cravingswithcat

Was looking for a quick breakfast with family. Getting there , you order then you find somewhere to sit at the open tables that say reserve. It was full when we got in line but by the time we ordered there were numerous tables to sit at. So no need to worry about sitting before you order.I got the triple berry waffle thingy which I wish I didn't order because I thought maybe the batter was berry flavored or something . Which it wasn't, just a plain boring waffle with fruit on top and watered down toffee.My mother got a breakfast burrito that was literally whatever. I had a few bites and it just tasted like any other drive thru place you can get one. So that was another disappointment.Fortunately my gf got some veggie crepe thing which was actually really good. So that kind of saved breakfast since for the most part all of use were sharing each others food.I give it 3 stars because they actually do have numerous other items that look really good that I probably should've tried instead.I saw a lot of people order the ube pancake so I'm guessing it's good and popular there. Either way first time was whatever and 2 of the 3 things we got were a miss. Would still kind of give it another try if I'm in the area again. I would say just maybe stray away from the boring regular waffle and breakfast burrito.

I was so beyond happy when we found this place! I go to Hawaii as much as possible. This place gave me straight to Hawaii restaurant vibes. As I was looking over their yelp review, the one thing that stood out was a fruity pebble French toast.. that was the star of the show! We decided to share it and we devoured itI like really simple breakfasts so I did the egg and spam and rice ! And surprisingly, I heated it up the next day to finish off the leftovers and it was delicious! My boyfriend really enjoyed the Kahlúa pork omelette. One thing I did not get a picture of was the guava juice , hands-down, the best guava juice I've ever had in my life... if the line wasn't so long. I was gonna have Him go get a second cup! Note- if you do want to eat altogether, I would come a little earlier or bring someone to hold a table. The place is extremely busy. But don't worry the food comes out fast and delicious! we got our food within 5 to 10 minutes of ordering it

How good was it? I forgot to take pictures, that's how good. If you gonna market Hawaiian food, then I'm gonna have to judge your loco moco by the gravy. Rice was the right kind of fluffy. The hamburger party actually had very good flavor to it without the gravy. Sunny side up egg was perfect. The gravy was not your average gravy. It had a different taste, a little pop, and I liked it! Good flavor and filling, as expected. I will come back to try some other dishes. The only ding...where is the Mac salad? This island boy needs my Mac with my island comfort food. Just sayin. Mahalo.

It was time to visit Aloha stacks again for some great food. We got our car serviced and decided to grab something to eat. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with a side of portuguese sausage. They both were good and tasty. We were there on 7-26-24 around 1pm and wasn't crowded at all. They have a large selection of food to choose from. Definitely a great place to eat and enjoy some great food.

(I think they have two locations). Their menu items are not the run of the mill menu items. They have ribs, ube pancakes, and loco moco to name a few. I love the fact that you can get your normal breakfast items here, but you can also get something different as well. That's what makes this place a 5-star in my book.

We came on a weekday morning so plenty of seats available. The daily specials included deep fried oxtail or deep fried ribs. Ended up with deep fried rib with chimichurri sauce which came with macaroni salad rice. Wow that was a nice crispy rib with tender meat inside. We ordered 3 mac n banana pancakes because of course macadamia nut reminds us of hawaii. It was pretty good but not exactly reminding us of hawaii. I'm still looking for a macadamia nut sauce syrup for pancakes. Also tried the crab fried rice with eggs, this was wow tasty crabby just what you wished for. I was very happy to see they have Lavazza coffee and free refills. They have interesting latte options but I love a good brand coffee when it's available. I can imagine this place is crowded on weekebut. Its spacious inside and clean good for families.
