Charming Italian Restaurant with Excellent Service! We celebrated Valentine's Day at this small but absolutely delightful Italian restaurant, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Despite arriving 10 minutes late for our reservation, the staff was incredibly accommodating and seated us right away, which was so appreciated. The wine selection was excellent, and the food was simply delicious--each dish had the perfect balance of flavors. It's clear that they take pride in their craft, and the cozy, friendly atmosphere made the night even more special. If you're looking for an intimate spot with great food and service, this is definitely the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

Something new for Valentine dinner. I'll admit I took the lead on this and told Hubbers without asking where we're going. He breezed through their Yelp/Website and he was immediately game! It's a good thing I made reservations when I did because any slot before 815p were gone! Tucked behind a corner, we arrived 10 minutes early and they were busy! But we were assured by the host and other workers"everyone will be seated tonight!" And a bummer: a sign that says they're permanently closing on 6/1/2025. (Good thing we came through when we did!) Sure enough, we were seated by the time our reservation time came around. I swear, we were probably seated at the best table in the house: 4 seater on the corner! It made the occasion even more special! It took us awhile to make up our minds about EVERYTHING, but it got easier once we decided we are to order what we didn't get that night the next time we came around. INSALATE MEZZA MESSA: I was curious about two kinds of salads on one plate. Both were fresh. I was impressed with the house salad's dressing. Ditto with the Caesar, generous with the amount of Parmesan and croutons. It's a good choice if you want a variety. BURRATA GENOVESE: A must have (well... at least for me!) Burrata was so fresh and creamy and the pesto as well as cherry tomatoes were great enhancements to every bite. A great palate cleanser as well! CARPACCIO DI MANZO: Hubbers' pick. It wasn't one I would have picked but glad I got to try it. The meat itself was already poppin' with flavor, but its sidekicks (Parmesan, capers and hints of lemon and olive oil) truly elevated the overall taste. Recommending this as well! (So... we were impressed with the starters so much so that we made reservations for Hubbers birthday... before we even got our main course!) CAPELLINI BIANCO: It was either this or the squid ink pasta. The scallops were the game changer. Generous with that as well as the shrimp. Pasta was perfect. White sauce was full of flavor. Delish: LAMB OSSOBUCO: Hubbers struggled between this and the veal version. This won out just because. I had a few bites - boy, there was a lotta love put in with this dish! There was so many flavors coming from everywhere and the seasoning was on point! Get this! FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4.5. Daniel was a great server! VALUE: 4. Quality and quantity! PARKING: Shared lot with others. Busy on Valentine's dinner. Might be better on other days. OVERALL: 4.5. We had leftovers which we ate the next day and we both agreed the food was even better! So, yeah... amazing first run! Looking forward to coming back soon! (I have the feeling this review will pop to a perfect 5 then!)

I'm sad to know this place is closing June 2025 after being here for 25 plus years. We had a 12 person work dinner here as they always accommodate large party sizes and another great meal where we didn't have to worry about the menu. They brought out a little of everything. Service from the staff and owner was excellent. The wine selection they picked was great as well. I wasn't able to get pictures of everything brought out but you must visit this place before they close.

A very nice, rustic Italian ambience with large portions of delicious food! I also got a glass of wine the size of my head. Can't wait to go back!

Don't let the outside deter you from exploring what's inside at Aliotta's. Truly an Italian restaurant, from the decor, music and great service. Has a balance of fine dining paired with the attention in the food like you are eating at home. We had early reservations on a Saturday night, which we were glad, as it was starting to get crowded as we were leaving. Full menu and wine list. We were served delicious bread to start and we ordered the calamari too. Calamari were rings only, but made fresh with a light batter. The marinara dip was so good.Main dishes we ordered Linguini Vongole and linguini toscana. We cleared both plates. Very yummy. We ended our meal with their tiramisu which was exactly how it should be made. Recommend! We will be back, maybe a double date so we can try more things. Also event table got focaccia bread, so we have to get that next time.

Decided to try a different spot, but I'll stick to my usuals. The penne al antonietta with filet mignon was average overall. Pomodoro sauce wasn't bad but wasn't special what lowers the dish is that the beef had a smell to it like it wasn't very fresh. The sandabs toscana also were a little subpar in the freshness department. The place is cute, but a little old with stained table cloths. Dishes on average were about $33 a plate which is on the higher side for pasta so I'd expect a little more. What really lowers the place are the weird vibes the servers gave me. I asked to place a high chair in a certain spot and he gave me a weird look. Then when they poured the water he leaned over me kind of pushing against me and over my baby. Then when I was ordering, he cut me off. Even my husband noticed they were weird to me but were friendly to everyone else at the table. I hate to say it's race based, but I was the only Asian person amongst my Mexican/white husband and inlaws. So maybe? Who knows. 2.5 stars but rounded up because they made a shrimp alfredo off menu for grandma.

We had a delicious dinner at Aliotta's Via Firenze. I had the San Dabs that were beautifully prepared. My wife enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana. The portions were very large and the service was excellent. They also have an extensive wine list. We will be back as the food was fantastic, staff were wonderful.

As mentioned by others, the outside and location seemed sketchy. However, once you enter there is a nice environment waiting. Comfortable, pretty, authentic. I ordered the Eggplant Parm. and believe it was the best I've ever had. Excellent service as well.I will be going back b/c the dinner was well-priced.
