To start off, Albert's is a chain with many different names so you could essentially go to whichever one and find almost about the same food or quality. However the difference with this location is they take their time preparing your order and they stay friendly morning to night, whether you had a few too many or you're just in the mood for late night munchies. Taste is always right and fresh and prices aren't as bad as most other places for a meal combo

Ordered a wet carnitas green burrito.. got a carnitas burrito, sprinkled with cheese in no sauce, no crema and no guacamole. Dry burrito in a Styrofoam container ? Maybe half a tablespoon of Verde sauce. I even cut in in half to see if there was sauce on the inside. No guacamole or crema or pico either.. Huh?

I live just around the corner from this place, and I really enjoy their tacos al pastor. As you can see, their tacos are huge and loaded with meat and flavor. They have a drive-thru and also offer delivery through Grubhub. I highly recommend their 5 Rolled Taquitos Supreme and their Super Fries as well. The menu has a wide variety of options, and although I haven't tried everything, the items I've mentioned above are definitely worth a try.

Decent for Mexican American food, when in that mood. Service was good and loved the self service salsa bar. Food ranged from meh to good. Nothing really great. Hard shell taco meat had a weird taste and texture and won't be ordering again. Taquitos, carnitas and chicharon tacos were decent and would order again when in the area.

I love this place. We get the same things all the time...5 three-rolled tacos with all the fixings & Super carne asada fries!!! Woohoooo! Delish. Sometimes we add a chile verde burrito or the classic bean & cheese burrito. Yum! AND, they've never messed up our order. Also.... The green salsa is the better of the two. You're welcome.

The only thing to get here is the Carne Asada Fries. Tried other things and they were okay but those super fries are spot on. Of course you have to pay extra to have them add Pico te gallo and yeah sometimes they charge you for it and they forget but just have to remember to check your food before you leave.The super fries here are some of the best around. You would have to go to a similar Albert's in Cypress to get a good quantity Carne Asada fries. At other places the meat is off or the fries are not good but here they know how to at least make these good. Just again, have go add the Pico for extra $.

This is the only alberts restaurant you need to know about. Food is always delicious. Yes the wait is long but worth it. My daughter is a picky eater but she loves their chicken super fries and horchata. I love their Chile verde and flour tortillas. It's pricey but you get what you pay for. Each entree is enough for two people. They have so much to choose from. If you go for menudo don't go too late because they will run out. Oh and be careful with the drinks, the lids slip off easily!

First time in Downey and found this place as we were driving. We used the drive thru. There's an outdoor patio and the drive thru is quick-average wait time. Only con about the drive thru is the speaker system used. It echoed a lot and it was VERY HARD to hear/comprehend what was being said through the speaker. We ordered an Asada burrito and I'm not sure what the cashier was saying through the speaker so we just agreed to it. It was honestly laughable. Food was good, although we found out our order was wrong but it was still delicious. I blame the wrong order on the drive thru intercom. Regardless of the order, food was great. Glad we found this place in Downey!

I thought it was a joke when my husband brought me my sope plate. I swear he bought me a kids meal not a regular sope plate. The sope had little to no meat or beans whatsoever it was ridiculous. I ate more maza and barely tasted any meat or beans. For the price they charge this is a joke, I will not be back here. Such a waste of time and money for basically nothing. I will be sticking to 3 amigos. Better quality food, good prices and great portions.
