This place is close to my job and they have AMAZING lunch specials! Is used to just get pick up orders from them as a treat to myself on certain days at work. But I recently went there in person to sit down and eat and it was sublime. I took my family both times and everyone loved it!The staff there is kind, efficient, and personable. They do mostly speak Spanish so be prepared to dust off some of that highschool Spanish! My go-to orders are always the Lomo combinando plate with a side of plátanos. The servings are great sizes also, I usually can split it between two meals.A definite must try!

I just tried this place for the first time. I have been looking for a great Peruvian spot for a few years now. Thanks to all the great reviews this place had I have finally found one. I for forgot to take picture because I was in a hurry to try their food. I order the lomo saltado and it was delicious! I forgot the name of the dish my husband tried but it was beans n rice mixed with a steak and fried eat on top. He loved it. The place is very clean and service was welcoming. I asked if it was family owned and it was. That explains why they paid so much attention to their customers. I am looking forward to coming back. They had so many dishes I want to try. Keep up the good work!

We appreciate when food is cooked homestyle. We were unable to get to our normal destination for Peruvian eats so we stopped into Aji Verde. As usual we were not disappointed. I was very happy to see the restaurant so busy since we are in tough times right now. I asked and I received a special dish of lomo & pollo saltado. Typically the menu serves either or, but I asked and I was happy to receive. We had several friends with us and everyone loved their meals. So glad we enjoyed this place

Authentic Peruvian restaurant, great food, and great service. We showed up during the lunch rush, they were extremely busy, but they still managed to take care of us quickly. The lunch special is a steal, $12.99 for a lomo saltado plate, plus a soup. You cannot go wrong. Great place to eat..... 5 starts!!

Aji Verde is tucked away in a corner of a strip mall type of place next to the laundry mat with plenty of parking in the parking lot. It's a nice place for families as well as a date night. I saw most of the reviews on yelp were about how good the food was and really wanted to try it with our fellow foodie friends. But our overall experience was not great and that was a bummer for me. But I'll start with what I did like which was the food. The complimentary bread was good and the chicken soup was very flavorful. The fried plantains ( around $6) that my friend ordered were pretty burnt though on all the pieces. The Lomo Saltado ($16.35 plus tax) I ordered was pretty good and with the green sauce it enhanced the flavor. The hubby ordered the pollo saltado ($16.35 plus tax) and he really liked his dish. I definitely would give the food 4 stars. What I didn't like and my friends agreed that the service wasn't good at all. We came on a Sunday evening a few hours before closing. We weren't greeted when we walked in, a lady behind the counter just told to sit down in the corner booth since that's all they had. It took several minutes before she came and gave us menus. Once seated I will say our waitress was good at taking our orders and the time for our food to come out was quickly which I appreciated. But after that no one came to check up on us or ask how the food was, or refill our waters. Maybe 30 min later we finally were asked how the food was but by that time we were just ready for the check and ready to leave. Maybe they were busy or understaffed but I would have liked to be checked up on at least a once or twice after receiving our meal. I really liked the food so maybe I'll come back and get it to go!

What a treat to have a hot bowl of soup and rolls as soon as you sit down. Loved many of the lunch specials....but those pork tamales are just to die for. Friendly family runs this place and try to go at least once a week.

This is my third time trying Peruvian food and my second time visiting this restaurant. The first time I came here, I tried the lomo saltado--it was average. On my second visit, I ordered the arroz chaufa with beef, but it was extremely salty. I politely asked the waiter if it was normally this salty, and she explained that it was due to the soy sauce they use, suggesting that I might not be accustomed to it.However, when I asked, another waiter gave me an unpleasant look, making me feel as if I were being scolded, even though I was respectful in my approach. I even mentioned that the meat was good, but the rice was overly salty. They eventually brought me another dish, supposedly with less salt, but it was only slightly better.I was disappointed with how they handled my simple question about the saltiness of the dish. Unfortunately, this will be my last time dining here. I'll continue searching for a good Peruvian restaurant that better suits my taste.
