So where should I begin? Oh right! It was a bright sunny morning and the birds were chirping and everything seemed to be right with the world! I was excited to celebrate my 3rd year work anniversary with my work colleagues today. To commemorate my anniversary I decided to buy myself a 3 leches cake to share with my colleagues! So I searched online bakeries in the San Pedro area and this Panaderia was one of the bakeries listed, so I decided to visit this Panaderia so I can give my support! I drove from Long Beach to San Pedro and I was so happy to visit the Panaderia, it reminded me of the Panaderias In Mexico. I was already feeling nostalgic when I stepped inside the building and could smell the aroma of sweet bread wafting through the air. However little did I know that I was going to be met with such bad customer service from the staff. I went to the cashier and requested to buy a tres leches cake. They had one for 10 people which was perfect but when I asked the cashier if she can please write "Happy 3rd year anniversary" she said no stating that the cake was too small, so I suggested how about just "Happy Anniversary" and she still said no. I suggested how about just "Anniversary" she said no! I then suggested if they can write it on the side of the cake and again she said no. I felt like I was asking her to do something so astronomical that she couldn't do it. As she started to box up the cake, I gave her one last plea if she could at least just write a 3 on the cake. The other cashier took the cake to the back. She brought the cake back and showed me the writing on the cake it said "Happy Birthday '3'" Although I appreciated her efforts, I was shocked and disappointed. Why? Because it was my anniversary not my birthday. I felt my eyes burning with tears. I just wanted to leave. So I took the cake and left. I just felt so disheartened by their lack of customer service. My once bright sunny morning turned into a dark and dreary nightmare. Unfortunately I won't be coming back and spend my hard earned cash here. Farewell.

We came here hoping for fresh corn tortillas, however, they're only making flour. The lady working there was kind enough to make another recommendation in the community where we could get fresh corn tortillas (El Zocalo). I thought that was so helpful and kind!We didn't leave empty handed though! With their assortment of various pan dulces, we grabbed a guava and crema empanada which paired nicely with our coffees from Ambrosia Cafe.I plan to come back and try their homemade flour tortillas next time!

I wish I could love this place... although parking is tough and the price point is more like "Americanized" compared to other Mexican bakery, their bakery items and fresh tortillas are good! But as some people mentioned, their customer service isn't good at all, plus, more importantly they tried to overcharge me twice in my last 4 visits. Both times, I only bought 3-5 items but they added something "extra" whether it was intentionally or not. First time, I thought it's just a mistake, but second time, I wondered... so if you're not Mexican, I recommend to check your receipts soon. The worse part was, when I went back to the bakery from my car to get the refund, they never apologized for their "mistakes" - they just (almost) throw the money at me.

Their turnovers are amazing! Light fluffy croissant and not too sweet, with a good choice of tropical flavors. We've tried some of their other baked goods, which have been not my favorite but my friend likes them.

Bread selection is good, parking sucks and the customer service is lousy. I was in the store for a full 5 mins, not even a hello. I'm not looking for a red carpet to roll out but at least a polite "aguantame porfas!" Would have gone a long way. Maybe why the store was empty - who knows? Upon ordering the lady started my order and was interrupted by a vendor, returned 2 minutes later to forget what I asked for. I inquired why the prices weren't listed. "Haci lo quieren los dueńos!" Poor attitude. It I lived closer I'd opt for a more friendlier panaderia.

Love this place. Every time I've gone in, I always go out with fresh, great tasting pan dulce. I love that they use natural ingredients in their breads. I bought mini conchas for .50 each. Very reasonable in my opinion! Yes, parking is a pain but worth the effort in my opinion. As far as customer service, no one was at the counter but I went on Cinco de Mayo, so it was a very busy day but didn't wait long for someone to come out to the counter. The person waiting on me was not smiley but was professional answering all my questions. I did get her to crack a smile when I mentioned I shouldn't go there when hungry! This is the only place in town I will go when I'm craving pan dulce!

The chocolate croissant is amazing! The birotes with chorizo, eggs and beans are a must try if you're early enough. Tamales aren't as good as the guy at the gas station across the street. Service unfortunately is where this place falls short. A smile would go a long way, that's the least they could do. Yet we've walked out of there feeling like we inconvenienced them by being a customer. My wife has had many negative experiences but she enjoys their bread so we keep going. If we found a better Mexican bakery in town we wouldn't though.

Disappointed and a shame to call yourself a panadería! Came in yesterday and the girl working had an attitude. Got about three conchas and a chocolate muffin and it was like $7. That's expensive compared to other places. Had my concha this morning with a cup of coffee and it was BLAND. It had no flavor and was a hard piece of bread. My boyfriend ate his muffin too and we both threw out what we bought because it just wasn't good. Expected it to be good since it was pricey but now I know not to come here againUpdate: Business owner got offended when someone wrote an honest review. My reviews with other companies shouldn't matter to you since you don't own them and it was my personal experience to share. Who cares if I have enough money or not or what minimum wage even is at the moment. Fact of the matter is it just wasn't good to me personally therefore no need to get upset at my review. If you're that sensitive about it then don't have your business affiliated with Yelp, simple!
