WOW! Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Would even rate it 15 out of 10.I've ordered the Beef & Pork Belly Skewers, Egg Fried Rice, Pork Short Rib Noodle Soup, and Small Glutinous Rice Balls from here and EVERY single dish here far exceeded every expectation I've had. I've been struggling to find good authentic Chinese food in the area that meet my standards, but this restaurant completely hit the nail on the head. Everything tastes exactly like all the amazing Chinese dishes I had growing up and reminds me so much of home! Not to mention the portion sizes and prices are very good.My heart and stomach are always full after eating from here. Will be supporting this restaurant over and over again!

This spot recently opened near me in what used to be a pho restaurant. They've got a massive menu, serve beer and wine, and if you're feeling fancy, you can bring your own bottle for a $20 corkage fee.Oh if you sign up for their free membership, you get 5% cash back on every visit to use next time, a nice little perk. You scan the QR code for the menu and order on your phones. Let's start with the skewers. I've tried both the beef and the octopus, and honestly? Not a fan. The beef was way too fatty for me....nothing against fat, I just don't vibe with the texture. The octopus? Meh. Wouldn't order it again. Also, a major miss for me: no chicken breast skewers, only innards and dark meat, neither of which I eat.Now, onto the stir-fried lettuce which, fun fact, is not actually lettuce. We think it's heart of palm, but honestly, who knows? A classic case of city folks struggling to identify vegetables in their pre-supermarket and pre-restaurant form. Whatever it is, though, it's delicious.I also tried the clam vermicelli twice! 1st time, amazing. 2nd time? A completely different dish. Was a bit miffed about that. And then there were the ice tomatoes. Oh. My. God. I love tomatoes, but this was the first time I met one I wouldn't eat. Picture cold tomatoes buried under a mountain of sugar. An acquired taste? Maybe. A taste I want to acquire? Absolutely not. Still confused why this even exists. All in all, I've been here 3 times, and I'd come back but would definitely google some of the dishes I've never had before ordering. At least the 5% cash back takes some of the sting out of my tomato trauma.

My search for local skewers led me to this new Chinese bbq spot. Staff seated us at a small oily table, where we scanned a QR code and sent mobile orders to the kitchen. We weren't given a heated metal tray like other tables to keep our skewers warm or the tall bin to dispose of our sticks. Instead, staff laid the skewers on a normal plate. Worried the skewers would get cold too fast, I felt rushed to eat. My friend ended up requesting a heated metal tray. We had mixed experiences for the food:Beef, Pork Belly, Squid Skewers (ordered spicy): Lightly seasoned, not spicy, overcooked and chewy. Not our favorite Chinese skewers. Grilled Scallop: Garlicky vermicelli nesting over a small, chewy scallop. Okay.Bullfrog Hot Pot: I've never had frog in soup before, so this was exciting! It's full of frog, chicken, and cabbage. Just be prepared to pick out lots of bones. The broth itself is tasty. The small size turned out to be massive (good for 2-4 people.)I'd really hoped that the skewers would be the highlight of dinner, but the quality fell short. Not sure if I'd come back any time soon. However, their menu is quite large and they do stay open late for any hungry night owls :)

Great new spot for Chinese BBQ. It has a large variety of skewers you can select from. It also has normal Chinese dishes that you can get too. The only thing i would suggest is eating your food decently quickly. They place the skewers on something to keep it warm but the heat doesn't last too long, that would be my only complaint If you have a big table there is one big table at the very end of the restaurant that you can reserve. It definitely gets loud in the restaurant - so if you're looking for a quiet sit down maybe save this place for a different time.

We had dinner there on Tuesday. It was during their soft opening.The ambiance is charming and modern. Service was friendly and attentive.There is plenty of free parking in a parking structure around the corner from the restaurant.We ordered quite a bit of items. We started with bbq skewers. You can get them spicy or non-spicy. There wasn't much heat on them but it might have been because we got everything spicy. The beef, lamb, sausage and chicken skewers were all fantastic!The fried rice with pork belly and chili peppers was spicy and delicious. It was also mixed with black bean sauce. The spice level was high but the flavors were so addicting that one could not stop eating it.The Manila clams were also spicy and delicious. The clams were fresh and the spicy sauce was addicting.The star of the show was the bullfrog hotpot. Bullfrog tastes like a combination of chicken, white fish and a little bit of mushroom. It was absolutely delicious. We got the lowest spice level and it was numbing. So delicious and we couldn't stop eating it.If you are looking for an authentic Chinese dining experience then look no further!

Food was great! The service was fast and friendly. The tables were a bit close together and I had people knocking into my skewers as they walked by. But nothing the food itself didn't make up for!
