92Kbbq AYCE - Torrance

Highly recommend this AYCE Korean BBQ if in this area. So many choices especially at the "salad" bar which also has so many cooked foods and also meats like bulgogi and garlic pork belly to cook. They don't take reservations but you can go on the yelp waitlist. There is a 2 hour time limit which was enough time for us. Service is prompt and a robot brings your meats to the table. They are quick to change your grill when needed. All the meats and seafood were fresh but they do only bring out 3 at a time. They only have valet parking and street parking is scarce.

There's usually a really long wait, but luckily you can join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time. My party of 5 came on Thursday around 6pm and luckily didn't have to wait, but it did get really busy shortly after. Service here was great with multiple offerings of grill changes throughout the night! The servers were constantly on rotation asking if we needed anything and quick to clear out any empty plates. The meats were pretty good quality, but our favorites were definitely the beef tongue and filet mignon. There were a number of other marinated meats also at the salad bar that we tried, but ultimately the best cuts were the ones we had to order with the server. The salad bar area was also large and included some other fried items. Loved the variety of dipping sauces and different kinds of lettuce! The large vats of rice paper was also a plus since we usually find ourselves bugging the servers at other spots for rice paper every few minutes. My only gripe with this spot is that only about 10 tables here have the vent hoods above the grill and unfortunately we didn't get one of those tables. The floors were pretty greasy and slippery, especially under the table the sat at. I'd suggest being extra careful when walking around, especially when carrying plates of food back from the salad bar! 92Kbbq prices and quality are pretty comparable to some AYCE spots in KTown without having to brave the KTown traffic. They take reservations for parties over 10!

The foods are always mid-good, service is good, & well organized inside.Just the heads up for customers visiting here, they play with tips. The recommeded tips are based on the total including tax, not subtotal. Be aware of this tip scam!This is why the ownership do not share the total tips of daily and weekly internally with their servers that I heard from neighbors

92Kbbq is a unique KBBQ restaurant that offers a great selection of meats at a decent price. What sets them apart from similar restaurants is the ability to get your own sides and small selection of meats from a buffet-style selection. Some of my favorite dishes were the beef brisket and belly, and their sauces paired perfectly with the meats. The portion sizes are more on the larger side, so we weren't able to eat as many rounds as we liked. While the meats were decent, I've definitely had better (more fatty and buttery) cuts at a similar price point in neighboring cities (Gardena, OC, etc.)If you're in the area and are craving some kbbq, 92Kbbq is a good option, but there are better ones out there.

Um I just found my favorite AYCE Korean BBQ spot in the area. I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile and finally got the chance with 3 other people on a Sunday for lunch. 92Kbbq does have a Yelp waitlist option but no need because when we came there was no wait. And they offer free valet you just need to tip. They have one menu option on the weekend. It is the same as their dinner menu. My favorite meats was the brisket, jowl, and beef belly. I liked that you can do half orders here so you do not need to commit to so much of the same meat at once. Besides their meats they do have a self service area which I found to be better than other AYCE korean bbq spots that also have a self service bar. There was a large variety of hot foods and items you can get for BBQing. What they have here that other places do not have include butter and they leave out the corn cheese for you to grab. I found all of their pickled kimchi items to be good and all of their hot items were good. They even had fruit and sesame balls for later on. Honestly for the price we were more than pleased. The service was excellent. Many of the meats were brought out by their robot. We did have some hiccups including that other people took our meats but our waiter made sure to get our orders in. They do have a 2 hour limit so we aware of timing. Overall it was a great first time experience and we all cannot wait to be back.

My family and I came here after visiting dad over at Rose Hills. We had a group of 6 people - the wait wasn't too long, about 15 mins, on a Sunday around 1:30. After we were seated (in a great place with easy access to the "salad bar"), our waiter came over and went over the procedures with us. My brother and his fiancée had already been here before, but the rest of us hadn't. Procedure was easy to understand and we ordered some meats while a few of us went to the salad bar to pick up some other stuff. After we came back, the other half of the group went and grabbed what they wanted. Overall, the meats with good and came out quickly when we ordered. The items at the salad bar offered a good variety of items and as someone else mentioned - it's easy to go overboard and get full on those things instead of the meat you order from the waiter. Overall, the restaurant was clean and ran efficiently. The foodstuff was fresh and was filled whenever it got low. There is a good variety of things and I'm sure everyone can find something they'd like to eat. The music was good, but not overwhelmingly loud. My only complaint is that our table was crowded - there was 6 of us and with all of the plates we got from the bar and meats that were ordered - there was hardly any room for us to have our actual plates. Since we were in a booth, we ended up using the side section to place some of our plates. The empty ones were cleared quite quickly, but it would have been much more pleasant with more room for us. I did take a quick look around and there didn't seem to be any spots that were bigger than what we had - so maybe something that could be worked on for the future.

My new favorite KBBQ place in the South Bay -- flavor is great, service is quick, and I love the service yourself buffet bar. There was hardly a wait for a dinner on a weekday night and the food came promptly. There are so many different cuts of meat as well as more meat in the buffet bar you can choose to cook yourself. The hot foods in the bar were also super tasty.I appreciated the wide selection of veggies / sauces / garnishes as I don't find that often at KBBQ restaurants. They have so many different radishes, chives, fruits, etc!

Food= delicious & fresh. Service = A-1 (prompt, attentive & gracious). 10/10 DO RECOMMEND!!

Found this restaurant 6 months ago, love it.Daughter and DIL come up from SD and this is where we go!!

The food was great but the service was EXCELLENT! Janelle was our server and she was so attentive, helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!
