900 Manhattan

My first visit with a new member. We had a good time and found everyone to be friendly, it felt like a home away from home, where everybody knows your name, a la the television show Cheers. The staff is not only attentive but also professional and hospitable, thanks to Paula and Sky for the great service. I enjoyed the unique environment and hope to be back soon.

Came here on Valentine's Day and it was packed. Despite that the female bartender got our drink orders promptly. She had nothing but nice things to say to my wife and I. She made our night very classy place

Been here before. Super cool place. Great vibe, service and may become a member at some point. Love it.

I'm not sure why this place has received low ratings, as it's a classic. I have been coming here for 15 years now. Naturally, the menu has changed over the years, but the current one is not bad. The staff members who run and work here are super nice.

I had Rigatoni and Sausage with Filet Mignon Skewers in Teriyaki Glaze with Coronas to wash it down. This is a five star food establishment with three star service. The rigatoni was al dente perfect and the light cream sauce was amazing. Very delicate seasoning by an obviously skilled hand. The sausage was full of flavor. The side skewers were delicious. Beefy, tender, nice Asian flavors and I could eat 10 orders without taking a breather. Also on the table was classic Spinach and Artichoke Dip--creamy, flavorful and delicious. I wanted to comment on the Corona beers with limes. They were delicious. Up in hinterlands of NoAZ we don't always get fresh items. The Coronas reminded me of Mexican beaches with fresh full-flavored Mexican beers and limes. Really good! ¡Arriba, Abajo, en Centro, en Dentro--Saluuud! As to the service, it was friendly, accurate but not fast. Very long waits for items that should be served immediately, like drinks, like ordering, like food courses arriving in a reasonable time. Not bad service, simply slower service than I'm used to getting.

The other reviews track! Horrible service from both female bartenders. They couldn't have been any ruder. They barely acknowledged us, gave us attitude, and looked annoyed to even have to serve us. There were 5 of us celebrating a birthday. My purse fell over and knocked my drink down, one of the bartenders screamed "oh my god!!" Rolled her eyes, and walked away. I apologized to the other bartender, saying it was an accident, my purse had knocked over my drink. She said, "oh... ok?" And also walked away. My sister in law, then asked if they could remake my drink and they did and didn't say anything else to us for the time we were there. Couldn't leave fast enough, honestly. How are you in the service industry when you can't even be kind? Bizarre.

This place enjoys a certain clientele, enjoy it if you like that sort of thing. We were treated terribly and illogically. But that doesn't surprise me TBH. My review was removed due to what craziness actually happened here with a friend of mine, but I know talking about it won't change the bubble that is Manhattan Beach. Hope this place gets a huge attitude makeover, and some common sense.

Terrible service but the food was good. How do ppl put up with bad service. Service is what makes or breaks the restaurant. Having to wait over an hour and ask the server where the order is SAD!!! Management need to attend to this issue. Especially when ppl pay quite a bit per year for membership. Maybe the servers think the members are over indulgent weenies. Hmmmm

If want a "members only" establishment put a sign up. Dont allow people to walk upstairs to be subjected to utter rudeness by the female bartenders.

If I could give a zero star I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a bar in my life. The bartender was rude and was obviously racist. This place needs new management. I have been all over Southern California and this was my last stop. I have never experienced such terrible rude service. The bartender is a disgraceful of a human being I have ever met. Read the reviews. They all track. This place is garbage.
