Food is so good and price is very fair here. Gonna be my favorite lunch spot in this area twice a week from now on.

PLEASE DO NOT COME EAT HERECOCKROACHES IN THE FOODOrdered two trays of food from here for 110$. Broccoli Beef and Kung Pao Chicken. Took them home for lunch and we found a roach in the chicken! Took it back immediately and asked for a refund. She tried to argue with us that because we had already eaten the food, we should not get the money back!!! What the fuck! Please do not eat here anymore, this place needs to close down or something because that is disgusting.

Hole in the wall donuts / Chinese food place. We always get the Pepper Chicken in a party tray. t's crispy, garlicky and sweet fried chicken legs and thighs. Been the same recipe for decades and affordable when feeding an army of people.

88 King is a small mom and pop Chinese food/donut shop located in an older strip mall in Norwalk.Was looking for something to bring to a potluck and came across the rave Yelp reviews for 88 King's Black Pepper Chicken. The reviews were so good, I had to try it.The Black Pepper Chicken is bone-in, cut up pieces of chicken that have been deep fried and then tossed in a garlicky sweet and savory soy-based sauce. NoMG it is good! Crispy and saucy and perfect with rice. The best bits to me are the pieces of chicken skin that have separated from the meat and are like crispy bits of deliciousness drenched in that wonderful sauce. I've purchased this now for 3 dinners and everyone has loved it and asked where it was from.You can buy the BPC as part of a combo meal, or like I did - in an aluminum tray. The nice thing about 88 King is that you can tell them you'd like $20 or $25 etc. worth and they'll adjust the amt of pieces according to how much you want to spend. For $25 ($27.50 with tax) you get a generous amount in the tray.Service is fast and efficient - I always call ahead and my tray is ready and fresh when I arrive. Parking can be packed, but I've never had to wait more than 10 mins for a space to open up.Love the BPC and will be back soon the next time I need a good main dish for a potluck or party.

I've been coming here since I was a teenager and the since then their famous pepper chicken has always hit the same and has been steadily delicious.! their prices are definitely fair and they haven't been raised too high. I think it's an older couple that own this shop as they are the ones there when I order and when I pick up. Come in during lunch and they have combo and bowl specials.

Ordered the black pepper chicken for my brothers birthday. They did great with catering. I called in around 11am to have the food ready for 5:30pm and the food was ready on the dot. There was no extra waiting which was great. Flavors are great and the skin is so crispy. Would recommend bringing this to any party 10/10.

Ordered catering trays here. Owner? (Younger Asian man) super nice. There's a $1 charge for use of debit card and I think credit cards have a fee too. Use cash if you can.$35 for half tray lo mein, $50 for half tray beef broccoli. Solid fast food Chinese food. Highly recommend!

Tried overrated black pepper chicken today. It might have been delicious back then but not anymore. Chicken was very hard and dry difficult chew or swallow, looks like it was fried many times before it was served to me. Had to trash half of them. Took my chances after reading bad reviews on the restaurant, I regret my decision.

I only order the combination fried rice here with no peas and no carrots, and it's the best around. My favorite out of all the places I order combination fried rice. I can't do spicy but it has the right amount of spicy that I can tolerate. Delicious. I haven't tried anything else from here. It's a small hole in the wall near another great taco spot!

I love this place. Their black pepper chicken and chicken green bean are delicious. Perfect for parties. They are quick and super on point. I highly recommend.
