Honestly, I thought it was going to be all hyped up. But, the meat tasted like it was from a few days ago. I did not like it. I was disappointed. They took like 10 minutes for 10 carne asada tacos and it was freaking outside! You have to park in the parking lot. And I didn't feel safe standing outside!

This business listing is in north Long Beach but I've been catching them at the Traffic Circle location in front of CVS. Al pastor tacos are my go-to at $2.50 each. On my first visit, I was delighted to see they come with piña (pineapple) and guac. The second visit, I must have showed up too late in the evening in the middle of the week when all the pastor was shaved off and they reheated the meat. The pieces were a bit overcooked and too crispy that I didn't enjoy it.My third visit, the pastor pieces were larger yet tender but there wasn't any guac on the tacos. Not sure if they stopped adding it or they ran out for the night.A bit inconsistent but that won't stop me from visiting a forth time.

"The Hook Up Food Truck"(Their words, not mine.)What a great find by our friend! She posted and we went. However, the location she went to was on 4400 Los Coyote Diagonal Traffic Circle (near CVS). Both that spot and this one open at 5PM for dinner and late night eats. If you want a lunch spot, they have a truck at 1787 E 28th St, Signal Hill, CA, open from Noon-5PM. You have options! This truck is parked on Artesia Blvd near the parking lot for Big Saver Foods. This location is in North Long Beach. They have one 6 ft table and chairs as well as extra chairs along the edge of the sidewalk. We ordered our staple... Al Pastor Tacos + Horchata. These Street Tacos are $2.50 each, a little pricier, but I'd say they're worth it. They didn't skimp on the meat. Each taco was filled with Al Pastor, guacamole, pineapple slivers, onions, and cilantro. What I really appreciated was that the meat was flavorful and there was more than one little piece of pineapple on the taco! A highlight of the meal was their salsas! We always bring our own because we like the heat. We gave theirs a try and really enjoyed them! In fact, we didn't even need to use ours! They have 3 different ones, each unique. I poured a little of all three on my tacos, so I can't tell you which one was the spiciest. I'd recommend taste testing each just in case.I didn't see a Trompo for the Al Pastor. Not sure if it was because we were early or if they don't have one here. There's one at the other truck. When we come back, I'll check for it. A gentleman chatted with us, he was very friendly! I believe he was the owner. I think he said his Dad or Uncle runs the truck near the Traffic Circle. He asked us about other taco spots and wanted to know which were our favorite and worst places. We couldn't remember the bad ones because we just never go back! LOL! He's got a good thing going here! If you're near any of these places or looking for some good Mexican food, go check them out!I'm sure my husband would like to try the Asada and Chorizo! I'll stick with the Al Pastor because that's my go to meat choice! We usually always just get tacos, so I'd probably stick with them. We will be back!

Heard good things about this food truck so I had to give it a try. I got the 600 burrito, Al pastor vampiro and chicken nachos. I wanted to try the agua fresa but it wasn't ready when I was ordering because they had just opened. The food has lots of flavor and the chips were crispy. Although some of my chips were a bit over done/slightly burnt and there was a lot of cilantro on the vampiro but I just picked some off.

I've been coming to 600 tacos for a few years now which is a local family owned business here in Long Beach. There are two food trucks and the original location is near the Traffic Circle ran by the father. This second truck is located in North Long Beach on Artesia blvd which is ran by the son. Both locations are consistent in fast service and the same food quality. The food never seems to disappoint as I always go for the asada fries or the chicken alambre. Mexican comfort food at its finest and most convenient given if you're in the East side you can go for the first truck or near the North come to the second truck. They accept phone orders and apple pay as well. The location is not in the sketchy part of the North or anything. The truck is located outside of a super market and they have these little lights that hang on the truck as well as some seats while you wait for your food. It is however take out only as there are no tables. All in all great food and service, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!

The food is delicious but my favorite is the asada fries this is my go to spot when you were out at night the asada fries just hit the spot if you guys haven't tried not tried it you need to try them. The service is fast it is a food truck and right it's kind of cold so good spot if you food on the go. The ambience is friendly and good they have music playing all the time. Like I said the Asada fries are the bomb and don't forget to ask for the green salsa.
