5000 Pies

Attempted to call twice to place an order and could not get anyone to answer. I'm not from this area, so today was my only chance to try it and it looks like that won't be happening. Food looks good and the idea behind it is wonderful, but sadly I guess it wasn't meant to be for me. 2 stars because a business should answer their phone during business hours...especially when you advise customers to call ahead.

I have been wanting to get a pizza from here for a long time. I got the SPICY one and it was excellent. This thing weighed a ton! I will be back

Blown away on my first trip here. The pizza was incredible and unique. The Chicago deep dish style is constructed like a standard Chicago style, but, with some unique flair. First the crust is a little less flakey and has some seasoning to it; I think this is significantly better than most Chicago style pizza crust in the area. The sauce was a bit less sweet and chunky than standard Chicago style; again I thought this improved the pizza. The large deep dish was big and could easily feed 4 with a slice left over. The Spicy had incredibly delicious flavor; spicy without being overwhelming with good chucks of pepper and delicious sausage inside. This pie was perfection. I don't know if I'll be able to order a different pie next time I come in since I loved it so much. The chocolate peanut butter toffee cookies were incredible, but, the snickerdoodle were also very good. Only downer with this place are the hours. I'm begging them to add weekend hours so I can enjoy this more frequently.

So I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying the much raved about Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. However, I am already so impressed with the customer service. I called to place a special order today and there willingness to help me make my boyfriends birthday special next week by surprising him with a custom pizza is just amazing! Thank you so much! Can't wait to try your pizza!

The best pizza in Long Beach. The deep dish here is absolutely worth the wait and the trip to the Westside. The pizza sauce is hearty and delicious and the ability to customize the pizza with an array of toppings makes it difficult to get something you will not like. The crust is also perfect for a deep dish, not too thin or thick.And another cool aspect about 5K is that it is run in conjunction with a local church to help local kids get work experience. They do good work here.

Truly love how they master their pies--meaning both savory and sweet! They also have pretty decent wings as well. Ordered the spinach deep dish, honey bbq sesame wings, and a dozen of cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal cranberry, and snickerdoodle). The spinach deep dish speaks for itself--amazing!! Very simple in ingredients but absolutely finger-lickin' good! It is comprised of mozz cheese, mushroom, and spinach--amazing! The wings were succulent and meaty! To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed the snickerdoodle cookies. They were thin and perfectly seasoned in cinnamon. My second favorite was the oatmeal cranberry cookies. They also sell pies by the whole and by "hand." I definitely am going to come back to try their Loaded deep dish pizza and the banana cream pie that fellow Yelpers rave about. Oh - and they have loaded fries, which I also am going to come to try!

I tried all 4 flavors of their hand pies and the cranberry cookie. All were delicious. My absolute favorite was the Nutella banana handpie. And my friends all agree.Call 24 hr in advance if you want to order whole pies. I wasn't able to get one day of.Wilson was great. Helped save me the pies I needed. Very friendly too.

Super good. Highly recommend trying. Wish the hours were extended. I got a Chicago Deep Dish double pep and spinach.

I had the personal regular crust which was ok, the food was fresh and the toppings were plentiful. But my favorite by far was the personal deep dish. It was an extra half hour but we'll worth the time. It will be the only pizza I get from here on out. Can't say enough good things about it.

When I called 40 mins before closing time, they didn't take an order because it takes 45 minutes to bake it. But when I called today they said it's ready in 25-30 minutes. And I went pick it up. they've forgotten my order. I had to wait for 30 minutes.
