Chinese chicken salad (how it comes. Wontons and sesame seeds are in a separate bag, and the teriyaki sauce comes in a little to-go cup)
Regular Chinese chicken salad (after I put on 1/2 of the crispy wonton strips, and sesame seeds) delicious!

If you can get past this hole in the wall in a not well lit, sketchy plaza, this place has decent teriyaki. Most of the patrons seem to be local with to go orders and some dining in.Big portions and dirt cheap! For 10 and some change, you can get big scoops of rice, a styrofoam container full of teriyaki protein and mac salad or another choice of sides. I actually wanted to try the sweet and sour chicken w/rice and mac salad.. and it was good with plenty of leftovers the next day.A friend brought us here many years ago and I remembered them. I think our friend liked their teriyaki proteins and Chinese chicken salad. Not really sure if we'd come back at night due to the sketchy vibes but, maybe on a weekend in the daytime. Plus there is quite a bit of road construction going on Western Ave. 3 stars!

Food portions are huge! Service was great, food came very fast, and has plenty of seating. Con's no restroom available, and although my plate came with plenty of teriyaki sauce the chicken still tasted dry and Mac salad was salty

First time here and hooked! Got the chicken and beef teriyaki with Chinese chicken salad. Delish! Rice was cooked perfectly. Chicken and beef were yummy and moist. The chicken on the salad was different and also moist.The container was PACKED! I was so excited I forgot to take a pic. Took it to go. The service was great. The lady was so sweet and explained the differences since it was our 1st time. Also, it is really neat that there are arcade games to play while you wait. Can't wait to try other stuff! See ya soon!

This time I had the seafood plate with Cole slaw and fries three pieces of fish and two sweet and sour shrimp. And order of fried zucchini. I miss their hand prepared zucchini with the giant zucchini wedges but the new ones are as good or better than most. I came with 4 other friends, two first timers. They all enjoyed the food and generous portions. The current owner/operator worked under two of the previous owners before taking over the restaurant. Mostly the same menu

Place is a harbor city staple and still looks like you walked into 1996 with the brown tile floors and the mortal kombat 2 arcade game by the door. You came here for teriyaki beef or chicken, and while they have other items on the menu, the staples are beef or chicken. Generous portions and homemade desserts on the counter are why I keep coming back. The owners/operators might not be as peppy as some people would like, but I'm not there to make friends, I came for the product! Delicious food, I always stop by for a plate when I'm in the area with time.

Mann! This place has gone downhill. I ordered a chicken plate and saw the elderly lady grab the chicken from a pan sitting by the grill. I asked the lady if I can get fresh chicken and she ask me if I wanted my money back because this is America!! Lol

Although the food is always good. The location is sketchy and inside it's just too hot and so run down. The lady at the front can be nicer. Age seems to be nice only to the every day customers I guess.

I have been to this spot multiple times, as it's a hidden gem in this area for great service, good food, and friendly vibes. I ordered the regular Chinese chicken salad, it comes with iceberg lettuce, all white meat shredded chicken, crispy wonton strips, sesame seeds, and a sweet/tangy teriyaki dressing. Definitely enough to feed and satiate one person. They also offer the salad in a large, but I think the regular is a good size. It came out to $12.05 with a card.
