106 Seafood Underground

Was looking for a mariscos restaurant and came across this location. I never visited their other location but I must say the food here is delicious. I will definitely be coming back soon to try the other dishes available.

Well, I found them on Yelp as 106 Seafood Underground but clearly there have beensome changes.Let's get into it.I don't live here so when searching for restaurants online it is really important that the owners should also update their social media pages, including Google searches and YELP.When I arrived I was definitely confused because it actually looked like two abandoned buildings. Because I had taken an Uber and only had a few hours to catch a flight even though it kind of felt uncomfortable. I went ahead and stayed because I was running short on time.The one thing I definitely had an issue with is this restaurant was 100% outdoor outdoors . They had formally changed their name and I don't know where they were before or how they operated but they are actually located in a parking lot and in the parking lot, there is a different food truck. It was a bit chilly outside and they did have heat lamps, but with it being so damp outside and I really wasn't feeling well. This was not the ideal setting. The menus were a littlelimited. No dessert, desserts, not that many appetizers and yet, the reviews were really high and the shrimp looked good in the photos so I did order it.Now I have to say this shrimp dish was Delicious !! great size on the shrimp, really great portion and seasoned to perfection. A hint of spice but just enough. The rice was super yummy and cooked to perfection.I just didn't like the idea that I was going somewhere completely. Unknown arrived to somewhere Unknown and didn't know if I was eating in the same place as I was reading the reviews. My staff was friendly. The food didn't take too long to arrive as I was the only one there and I could definitely recommend this location.

Food is absolutely amazing never ever disappoints every single dish on their menu is worth trying .Parking is pretty big and never have had a problem finding a spot. Service is excellent the staff is so welcoming and always on point and did I tell you there food is amazing

Our friend invited us to lunch here for some delicious mariscos. The parking lot had plenty of spaces. They were cooking out of the food truck that day. Seating was outdoors, so don't expect much for ambiance. Regardless, service was fast and friendly. Best of all, the food was delicious! If you're near LAX or headed to SoFi, consider stopping here if you're looking for a great mariscos meal.

Loveee it! My go to spot when I am craving seafood or when I am cruda lol Food never misses , best ceviche in town. Anything and everything you try is fresh and delicious! Service is great, kind waitresses.

First time and last. Sorry the michelada was in a plastic cup and tasted watered down. Only 2 kinda beers offered. I ordered the classic shrimp ceviche way to sour and overwhelming lemon tried fixing it by draining it and adding there green salsa, but didn't work. The chips were good. The service was nice. It's actually really nice inside. Also ordered chicharon fish tacos I think that's what there called I ate 1 they were just ok. Heard good things ,but left disappointed. Met up with a good friend and well we both felt the same. Sorry

Outstanding..... ordered the ceviche tropical, tacos gobernador, and tacos chicharrón de pescado. The customer service was great and they will explain and help with the menu.Ceviche tropical...great marinade and plenty of shrimp. The apple and mango just takes you to the next level.Tacos gobernador.... You get 3 tacos, cheesy and plenty of shrimp. Flavor is perfect and another great plateTacos chicharrón de pescado...the fish nuggets are perfectly fried and have a great fish taste...not fishy but fish taste. Add the green agua chile salsa and you're great.

I've heard a lit about this place from coworkers since it was the Underground. It did not disappoint. My favorite out of everything we got was the Ceviche Tropical but everything was spot on. Took it to go but the lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful with navigating my order. Inside look clean and wasn't to busy. My food took less then 20 minutes to make. I'm definitely going to be coming back to try more.

Secret Society, all we ask is trust! *wink*The restaurant is easy to locate; it's in the backyard of the address listed. Park on Hawthorne Blvd. at 106th Street instead of in the residential neighborhood and walk over. They accept cash or Zelle only, with a mandatory 20% gratuity on parties of 6+. We visited on Saturday, around 5, with a party of 6. Although closing soon, they still served us and let us finish our food past their closing time. This is such a neat setting in Inglewood; I felt like I was eating fresh seafood on an island or in a small town in Mexico. Besides the jets flying by every 5 minutes, the vibes were great. Right when you walk towards the backyard, you are greeted by a hostess and the smell of fresh seafood being grilled. The aroma is heavenly, and the greenery that hugs the yard is an excellent escape from the concrete city just outside of these corridors. Most plates are $20-25, with tacos (3 tacos/plate) and appetizers being around $12. We ordered the Chicharrones de Pezcado tacos, tropical ceviche, and camarones borrachos. My favorite was the shrimp in their garlic and sauce; it was so good! The tropical ceviche comes with raw shrimp in a yummy tangy sauce with mangos! It's so good, especially with homemade tortilla chips. I was skeptical, but this restaurant is incredible. I almost want to keep it a secret, but that's been out of the bag! 5/5 recommend!

Food was pretty good. Shrimp ceviche in green salsa was fire (and spicy). Food was a little slow to arrive but worth the wait. Will definitely come again.
