"Have been looking for a go to udon spot! Diiiing Diiing Diinnnng!!! We have a winner! I have been trying to go to this place but every time I always miss the time frame to go as they have 2 opening times! Mon-Thurs: 11:30AM-2:00PM, Reopens 5:30PM-9:30PMFri-Sat: 11:30AM-2:00PM, Reopens 5:30PM-10:00PMSun 11:30AM-2:00PM, Reopens 5:30PM-9:30PMI finally was able to go with my fiancé and this place did not disappoint AT ALL! I got the Curry beef udon bowl with medium spice and that is exactly what I was looking for when I go to get curry anything (it needs to have spice)(my opinion)!! It was a 10/10 packed with flavor and you don't get tired eating it, I highly recommend that you also order a side of their fried chicken and literally is THE BEST I have had! Pairing it with the curry, just the best of both worlds! The Kitsune udon was so clean and refreshing, the broth was so flavorful and not too strong, 10/10!! The tempura that we also ordered was fried and cooked perfectly, satisfying crunch, shrimp not overcooked, and the tempura sauce was delicious as well!! 10/10! The only thing that was okay was really the fried squid legs as they were nice in crunch but the squid was pretty tough to chew 7/10, great flavor though with the lemon! The service was extremely fast as well, they have a system that literally has you in and out of their quick! All the servers make sure that you are well taken care of! It is a small establishment so make sure to plan ahead and get there early as it can get really busy! Ambiance just made me feel like I was back in Japan and so that is also a 10/10!If you want more space they do have a second location you can try out (okidoki by Meiji) but for me the original will always be the best! TRY THIS PLACE TODAY!!"

"Love getting catered food from here. Value is awesome to feed my family of 17 and a party of 50 or more. Call ahead and they'll prepare everything. You can order and eat there since there are seats but I love to enjoy their fresh food in the comfort of my home."

"This is a chill little place that has a modern cafe vibe.We were not greeted immediately but the lady at the register was nice to us when we got to the register inside. She offered us to sit anywhere and we were promptly given menus and also were able to order pretty easily.The place is pretty clean and it was dead when we got in but I noticed quite a few people coming in for food pick up.DRINK:Vietnamese Coffee:This was delicious! Great balance of coffee and milk! Not overly sweet, just right!FOOD:Soup:I'm not sure what it is called but it is a wonderful start to the meal. It is light, delicious, and refreshing.Com Tam (Broken Rice):Wow! First of all it was weird for me not eating Pho when I eat Vietnamese food, and this was AMAZING! The rice is cooked perfectly and the meats are also cooked very well. I got the chinese sausage, pork rib, and some other pork meat.The veggies are also a nice refreshing taste and texture to the meal!OVERALL:The food was great! This is a new meal for me so it feels life changing, but I don't think the idea is revolutionary. The service was not what you would expect in a sit down restaurant, but every interaction we had was great. There was just no order to the service. We got our meals first, then our drinks. They did not really check on us at all as well.I think that despite the service not being as great as I would have liked, the food pulls it through to a 4/5."

"Ordered takeout from here tonight and I was soooo satisfied. It's crazy how good food could make you feel so happy. I ordered 1 Pork Chashu Tonkatsu ramen with 2 and a half eggs since my bf and I were sharing. The amount of food was very shareable and the packaging was neat and well packaged. The noodles were perfectly cooked, al dente just how I like them. They had a nice bounce even after I microwaved them :) I liked the chili oil provided with my ramen. It was a light spice that didn't destroy my tongue. I ordered spice level 2.All in all I had a very nice experience with the host, and I thought the ramen was absolutely delicious. I worked at a ramen shop for 2 years (if you need some credibility for my review haha). All smiles in there from all the staff. Keep it up the great work"

The wait was not long, and our waiter with the beard really made our experience unforgettable.We had just watched a comedy show down the street, but were still hungry. The carpaccio was super light, super flavorful, and had plenty of capers! Their version of a calamari was also very flavorful and light. It was unique in that they also battered and fried a lemon, and it tasted like seafood as well which was shocking. We also ordered the paperdalle which was savory. "Great tasting Thai Food. Everything I've had so far with the exception of one thing has been excellent. Bursting flavors. The spice level is not overwhelming. Staff is friendly. Plenty of space inside. They have a bar. Appetizers: Moneybag & Westside Wontons are both stuffed with chicken and shrimp. Although they seem to be the exact same thing they're made a little differently. Both were amazing. Great tasting. Perfect app to start with. I did not order these two on the same day. Highly recommend! Spicy Jungle Noodles was a 10/10. I have never tasted such a fantastic noodle dish. This is hands down my new favorite Thai dish. They aren't kidding about the exotic Thai spices. All the veggies pair well with the entire dish. The perfect amount of spice level. The noodles melted in your mouth. The amount of protein on this dish was crazy. I went with beef. The beef was tender and was seasoned perfectly. The Golden Curry was a 10/10. Loved their recipe. The spices and spiciness of this dish was on point. The chicken was moist and packed with flavor. Potato's were soft. Highly recommend.Pad Thai was a 10/10. Great tasting. Flavors were outstanding. Veggies and noodles were cooked to perfection. One of the best I've ever had. My least favorite dish: The spicy eggplant. Several reasons. Eggplant was cold. Veggies to Protein ratio was overwhelming. It was bland. No flavors really came through on this one for me. I was bummed because I truly love eating this dish."

"My family and I have been in the great search for good Thai food and this place left us disappointed. Ordered tom yum soup, pad Thai with tofu, beef salad, salty fish fried rice, fried red snapper, soft shell crab, and pad cha catfish. The star of the meal was the soft shell crab - spectacularly crispy and soft. Tom yum soup was spicy, sour, and hot. Wish it had more of the veggies. On the other end of dinner, the beef in the beef salad was cold and chewy. As if it was cut in the morning and left to be a topping later on in the day. The pad Thai with tofu was cooked with thin rice noodles and had no egg, no nuts, no chives. Salty fish fried rice was not salty and was missing any "fishiness" to it. Pad cha catfish tasted very similar to a homey Vietnamese catfish dish. I'm not sure if I'll give this place a try again. Maybe."

"My sister & I met for a late lunch the day before 4th of July. Found ourselves checking out Country Cafe referred by friends. They close at 1:30pm. We arrived at 1:00 Thought they might turn us away. We were so wrong. They greeted us cheerfully and never rushed us to order or finish up. Top notch service all around. Sister ordered a 2 egg scramble accompanied by brown rice, bacon and sourdough toast. Homemade strawberry jam. Delish. I ordered machaka - half a plate full of tasty shredded beef scrambled with fluffy eggs. Plentiful. Delicious. Cottage cheese, sourdough toast and brewed coffee completed my meal. So much food. We both took half our meals home for dinner. The cafe is ultra-clean. A wall of philodendron plants look well-loved - healthy, hardy, lacy - allowed filtered light to enter the lovely cafe. Impressive. Country Cafe has been in business for eight years. I live blocks away. I can't believe this was my first visit. It won't be my last."

Perhaps that will knock down all the bookmarks that I have, (maybe) lol. And well at least share some information about the places I have been to help the community. Enough about myself, this spot has incredible food. The service can come across as a tad unhurried, I felt this was due to the high volume of customers in the restaurant which is understandable. I have never experienced eating inside just order over the phone, then pick up, and let's go!! While waiting for my order (sometimes), the ambiance around the restaurant seems lively and busy, with a lot of moving pieces. I would give this a 4/5 just due to my experience with food and services. However, I would recommend it to you if it is already something you are reviewing and looking at."

I added avocado to mine, would definitely recommend. Came with a salsa verde on the side, also bomb. Took about 10 minutes to come out, which I was fine waiting because I knew it was being made FRESH! They don't play here, everything made to order. But let me tell you this, what took this burrito to the next level was the out the fridge ketchup bottle the manager handed us. "The corn tortillas are a must!! I've never had a corn tortilla so soft that it felt like a flour tortilla. I could eat them every day. The chili verde was so flavorful and the meat was so tender. Amazing meal! The service was excellent. Highly recommend!"

"We had a great experience ordering food for take out from Orange Curry. We went into the shop not knowing much and taking up a lot of their time trying to decide what to order. They never tried to rush us and were super accommodating and polite, offering us samples from the steam table. We ordered many different items: aloo gobi (cauliflower potato), palak paneer (spinach cheese), chicken tikka masala, daal (lentils), goat curry, rice, naan. Everything tasted really good! Some a little more spicy (palak paneer) than others but not bad really and a mild/medium on the spice scale. Pro tip: add sour cream or plain yogurt and it pairs so well while toning down the spice.Orange Curry is a great way to try Indian food if you're new to it since they offer samples. It's also great for take out since the portions are huge! and there's limited seating (3 tables). Mango Lassi (mango yogurt smoothie) is so good. Super filling so share with another person of you won't be able to eat your dinner!"

"Haven't been to a KFC in ages and had a craving for some chicken tenders and wanted to tey their new fries.We were not disappointed, ordered 2 orders of the 4 peice tenders and fries that also comes with a biscuit and a drink, and 12 wings.The tenders were awesome, the new fries were awesome the biscuits hit the spot...too full to eat the wings Aries, the gentleman who waited on us was awesome, he was professional but friendly, he included butter and honey for the biscuits (haven't had that included without asking), he was waiting on the wings and had us pull around the side, when he brought the food out he was professional and friendly...Just have to give credit where it is due...Aries is awesome at customer service and it was a pure pleasure dealing with him."

"Was driving by and saw this old school diner and had to stop! From the moment I walked in and Lucia welcomed me I felt like this was a perfect spot for a good breakfast! And I wasn't wrong! Lucia is friendly and she helped me pick out the cali-Cato Benny for breakfast! Lots of avocado on it which was a plus! Prices are good and will definitely be back when in town!"

"El Rinconcito is located inside the Mundo Liquor & Mart. This isn't your typical Disneyland style haven quik-e-mart. It's grimey, muggy, and probably should be doused with the strongest bleach available. Upon entering you'll notice the heavily barricaded cashier mean mugging you behind his bullet proof glass. Stand your ground but don't come off too aggressive, them Asians are packing heat no doubt. Give a simple acknowledgement and let him know that he's still the king of his castle. Cruise by the counter and onto El Rinconcito. The set up is big enough for five gnomes.The guy behind the register speaks English if you can't bust out any fragments of Espanola. The menu is simple: tortas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and mariscos. The prices are incredibly affordable. Tortas $4.25, burritos $3.99, and tacos are $1.25. Taco Tuesdays lower them down to a buck each. FYI, the tacos are those small bite sized ones but they don't skimp out on the meat or the usual toppings. A guy like me can probably polish four of them and not be overly stuffed.I've had their tacos and they were good but I wasn't oogling over them or anything. For a dollar and some change, I'm not going to b*tch either. I think the burritos are a better bet. So far I've had the carne asada and the chicken. The pollo surprisingly had much more flavors that hit the spot. At first glance, the burrito doesn't look too grande but after you finish it, you should be in a good state of mind. If you want to pig beast it, order yourself a burrito and taco. It'll still under $6. Maybe next time I'll give their beef tongue (lengua) taco a shot.The sauce bar looks like it's going to give you the poopies for days but that's the chance you're going to have to take. Having Mexican food without the proper salsa is like eating sushi without the wasabi and soy sauce. They had three different salsas at the time: green, orange red, and red. All were pretty much the same to me. Like the Gooch, I also pillaged their carrots but left the jalapenos out of my baggy. If you want lemon or radish, I believe you have to ask them for it. Also, you can gringo out your tacos and burritos by adding items such as cheese, avocados, and sour cream but it will come with an extra $.50 cents or so. For what it's worth, El Rinconcito is one of the better options for Mexican food within the area. There are many competitors around but their burrito is solid and worth revisiting. Like I stated before, the prices are set for all commoners. You probably walk around with the newest Iphone or Samsung, so there's no reason to get bent out of shape for a $4 burrito. They seriously need to do something about the ventilation in the entire place though. It's not fun when it's 90+ outside and the place doesn't have AC or any fans. I highly recommend take out as opposed to dining in. Plus you don't want to be half way through a burrito and all of a sudden, the liquor store gets rolled on.Props to the homie at work who I will refer to as the Mexican "Pitbull" for continuously looking for new joints to try like this place. Hell, the guy walks over to our cubicles and asks, "What's for lunch?" at 7:10am when our shift starts at 7am. Go on with your bad self playa."
