Lone Wolf

Solid spot to grab a beer after work with friends (also, to chill while waiting for a table at au cheval!). There are a ton of booths and tables of varying sizes both small and large. About 10 brews on tap with something to appeal to everyone. Would recommend!

This is a good spot in the neighborhood for a good, strong drink. We ended up twice here during our stay and both times were legit.

We came on a Saturday night and it wasn't that busy. We were able to snag seats at the bar, which made zero difference in how quickly we were served. It was strange how we were basically being ignored, while people that walked up to the bar right next to me were being served. Their drinks were great, though! I ordered a cocktail and then a beer w/ a sidecar. Their drink menu is very substantial - there were so many drinks to choose from that it made it hard to decide! They do not have food! It would have been cool if they had even the most basic snacks, as we stopped here strictly because we were waiting for our table for dinner, and were dying to eat.

We were in town for a wedding and had gone out to dinner down the street. We were just looking for a spot to get a drink after dinner. Lone Wolf had decent reviews and was on the way back to our hotel. It was the weekend before Halloween and a lot of people were in costume. It was mostly people in their late 20's and early 30's. I'd peg it as a destination for people who don't have kids yet. In a lot of ways it is a complete hole of a bar, but maybe a nice dive for yuppies with cash to burn? So overall I enjoyed our stop in the Lone Wolf. It is a decent bar, nothing that I'd go out of my way to hit up, but also a perfectly fine option if you are in the neighborhood.

Lone wolf is a a casual bar that's always bustling. I go here as a filler while waiting to get into other restaurants or bars, especially on Friday or Saturday nights. The drinks are cheap and the place is casual, yet fun.

We've been in the neighborhood for about a year and haven't paid a visit to this place until about two weeks ago. I wish we hadn't. We had a friend from out of town visiting, so we hopped around to a few places. We came to the Lone Wolf to meet a group of friends. The security was awesome - really nice guy. The bartenders weren't overly personable, but I get it, it's busy. The drinks were okay and we were able to get them quickly. Why the poor rating? Our friend had brought in a can of sparkling water. Asked the bouncer if it was cool to bring in, he said whatever because it was water. The bartender saw them with this, didn't question it. It wasn't until about 20 minutes later - after we had ordered two rounds of drinks - that a dude came by and berated us for this water because outside drinks aren't allowed. I initially apologized for the outside drink and said I understood, but there hadn't been a problem when we asked about it as we came in because it was just some water. Then the guy MOCKED ME. Truly would not have been any form of an issue - I apologized and didn't want to be a bother. We asked if we could bring it in. Not one person raised any concern, just this a-hole clearing the tables. Everyone has a bad day, I get that, but this dude shouldn't be working anywhere near a customer.

Love this place. Laid back chilled spot with good drinks. Also, they sell the most amazing tamales. I'm not sure they advertise the tamales they seem to be one of those things you just know. I've only done bar service and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable.

Stopped in for a drink and dug the vibe. Defiantly a nice spot to grab a drink with friends.

Heads up heads up! If your looking to leave and have to drive home with one eye open THEN COME HERE! I had two Tito's with sprite and left not knowing if I could drive home. One friend barfed right at the table and the rest of us had BEYOND horrible stomach pains the next day! We could not get out of the bed! I'm not sure if they switch Tito's for low bottom barrel liquor, but something was really off! Tito's ain't sweet and what I drunk was extra sweet. I'll never return and this maybe the end of my dive bar experiences!
