This review is for the University District Farmer's Market salmon sliders at with:1. apple aioli, bacon & arugula2. lemon aioli, charred radicchio & fetaMaybe it was the heavy rain and cold, windy absolutely crappy weather, but we were initially skeptical and expected it to be some mediocre-tasting burger with mushy-textured salmon and low-quality bread (very common of many sliders in Seattle) that is good enough to fill us up but not to enjoy...Boy, oh, boy were we wrong! It was AMAZING - taste, texture, aroma & aesthetics (not sure how sliders can look "aesthetically pleasing", but they were not scattered or sliding off)! Will probably buy their fillets next time!

Love the salmon hash from Loki at the Ballard farmers market. Smoky salmon, fresh potatoes and arugula, topped with an egg, with a creamy chipotle-like sauce.

The apple aioli/bacon/arugula salmon sliders. Oh. My. Lord. It's a party. A party in my mouth. Salty bacon, delicious fish, and plenty of greens. If you spot these guys at a farmer's market, mosey on over! You won't regret it!

Another trip to the U Dist Farmers' MKT to grab as much salmon as the cats & I can eat this week. Gr8 family run business I discovered as one of the MANY students of Pete's. A wonderful man, incredible anthro professor and activist for working class fishermen and sustainability for the region. From the website, it looks like 3 generations of seafaring tradesmen (and the lovely Hing). The sons now have their own boat (s?). Having been at sea myself, I understand the love and beauty of Alaska, the coast, and the Pacific Ocean. This business is so well run with great product that there's a frigging waitlist to shop with them. So don't question what thousands of us already know, and run to spend your money. I'm not sure what the dock sales situation is, but I do know until things open up for their online sales you can still purchase fresh, frozen, smoked and canned salmon (depending on availability) at the weekly University Dist & West Seattle farmers' markets. They usually have a pretty good rotation of king, coho, keta, sockeye, and now pink salmon. Their website also offers patties, roe, and pet treats. Their customer service has always been a great experience as well, both at the markets, and their office. About 5 years ago, I got a delivery which walked off my porch. After they confirmed it had been delivered, the lovely woman on the phone stated "you know what, you're not far. I'll repack your order and run it over to you." HOLY COW! Now that's above & beyond. Gracious ppl, excellent product.

Made a special trip to the Fisher's Terminal to try this business today. Disappointing customer service experience. Was ignored on the pier with my toddler for a significant amount of time. Will not patronize again.

We've been grabbing fish from Loki since they arrived at the Procter Street Market in Tacoma. Not only the fish but the dog treats as well. This is some of the best fresh salmon we've bought and always grills very well. A little bit of olive oil, some salt, and some pepper over high heat and you're golden. The filets have a nice even thickness which really helps with grilling the perfect salmon. Even though we usually save the skins for the dogs, we also buy the treats from Loki. The dogs love their fish as well. Even better, it's a locally owned family business! If you're looking for great fish for grilling hit them up.

Great seafood at affordable prices. Restaurant quality fish sold direct to the public. Tired of purchasing fish that stinks? Well I was. I purchased halibut and OMG it was great. Restaurant quality at affordable prices. I live in California and Loki Fish Company is in Washington and not a problem for Loki. Their packaging and shipping; the best in the West. The fish arrives frozen and fresh; just as if it were caught and shipped the same day. Loki is where I will purchase all my halibut and salmon. I am so happy I found Loki Fish Company I want to tell the world. Truly the best in the west buy Loki Fish Company products.
