I and some friends had lunch here again last Friday.They never disappoint.Great food and service in very pleasant surroundings.

Came here for lunch during the week with some coworkers. It was seat yourself and not busy at all. Great service and the food came out fast. They have some great deals on the lunch specials. I got one beef taco and one beef enchilada with red and green sauce. My two sides were rice and beans! It was good and will be back again soon!

First time at this location. Not bad but definitely not great. We sat our selves at the bar for taco Tuesday. Lots of staff visible doing busy work and chatting amongst themselves but not very attentive to customers so we sat for a few minutes to be acknowledged, then to get menus, then again to be asked about drinks and yet again about our food order, chips and salsa. Considering we were sitting at the bar and they weren't busy it seemed odd but we were not in a rush. The first thing that struck us looking around was that at 7:30pm every single light in the restaurant was on full exposure. It was so bright and unappealing for an evening. Absolutely zero ambience. It's easy to see where the lighting has been placed so that it can be adjusted accordingly for the time of day so not sure who is supposed to be in charge of that but they were not. The outside patio looked like a great place to hangout with great weather. Lots of nice TVs to watch various sports as well. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe. We ordered five different tacos, a side of guac, Queso and rice to try. I enjoyed the crunchy barbacoa and soft carnitas the best. The mahi, steak and shrimp were okay. We also had a house margarita and 2 mixed drinks, both fine. It was about $55 for everything which isn't bad. We have enjoyed the Scottsdale location so we're looking forward to this being closer to us. Meh.

Sat at the bar tonight. Great service all around. Chips and salsa are amazing. Bartender was super cool and friendly. We ordered the chicken taquitos and the nachos. Best nachos and taquitos anywhere! Always a chill atmosphere

Was gonna stop by here the other day, pulled into the parking lot and they got a big Packers flag flying out front. WTH is that? Last I checked this was Phoenix. How about supporting the local teams? Yall left Green Bay because it sucked, right? Right. I will take my money to businesses that support the Cardinals because after all it is AZ we live in.

Have been to the other restaurants that occupied this space. None of them really stood out. Came in to Loco Patron and we were welcomed immediately!! Wanted a booth and had one cleaned off promptly. Ordered a pitcher of Margaritas. Chips and salsa brought to the table.We ordered the enchilada and taco combo. And the Birra tacos. Can I say.... Everything was just delicious. Fresh.... Flavorful. We had the pleasure of Lexi being our server. She was wonderful. I can't wait to return.

Really cute spot with nice covered outdoor seating. Casual, sports bar vibe. Our waitress was really sweet and the service was excellent. We never really had to ask for anything. My mom got the beer battered fish tacos and I got the birria tacos. Good food. She loved her fish tacos. My birria were decent but I've had better. Entrees come with 2 regular sides or 1 speciality side. I want to try their chipotle mashed potatoes. We also shared a pitcher of margaritas. I think this would be an ideal place for happy hour apps and drinks.

This place has been several different restaurants over the years not sure why but the latest iteration was pretty good. The outdoor seating was perfect for the cool weather in March. The music and decor were tastefully done. The staff greeted us promptly and with a huge smile. Plenty of space to enjoy your meal. We ordered some cocktails that tasted good just needed a little more liquor to hit it right. We ordered the fish tacos and chips. They were battered nicely and were not greasy at all. The only hang up I had was the price of things and the tortillas could have been better. I believe just a few bucks less would mean the world. Perhaps during happy hour it will make more sense. Still a nice spot to get together with friends and loved ones. I hope the location thrives and sticks around a while.

I'm a super positive and happy go lucky girl "but" Yelp is designed to honestly inform other Yelp users on customers' sincere reviews. This meal was one of the most bland unimaginative Mexican restaurant experiences I've ever had. Imagine your loved one, not well, hospital bound and you having to go to the hospital cafeteria for substance or merely survive. The food at Loco Patron is so bland, hospital jello has more flavor.... Enough said, skip skip skip and pick up a Circle K 72 hour on the roast roller hotdog and consider yourself lucky not to have spent $$s in Loco (to eat here) Patron. Drinks were melancholy.

Loco Patron in has the best Mexican food and margaritas in Uptown Phoenix. Amazing specials for lunch, taco Tuesday and happy hour too! They serve their own beer that's brewed at their Scottsdale location. Everything is locally made and sourced. The staff is great, the food is fresh and delicious and they have tons of TVs to watch sports or UFC! My favorites are the fish and crunchy pork tacos, the salt and pepper wings, and the poblano enchiladas.
