Lobster Lab

There's an array of restaurants located inside the Wind Mill Food hall across the street from the Carlsbad Outlet. It's cafeteria style eating, so it's definitely family friendly that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Been dying to try this place out, so I'm happy we were able to swing by. We split the caviar on brioche bread, and the lobster and crab rolls both had truffle oil. Anything with truffle is perfection. The guy working was nice and helpful.  I highly recommend this spot if you're shopping at the outlet or roaming around the flower field.

Lobster Lab is inside the Windmill Food Hall. Parking was okay but a bit cramped. Seating is either inside our outside patio and there's also a water station available. They have a few offerings on their menu besides their lobster roll which included clam chowder, melts, bisques.We ordered the lobster grilled cheese and one hot lobster roll. We had the option of either cold mayo based or hot with a side of butter.Service was just ok. The guy who was helping us would get distracted by the other workers when we were trying to ask what the most popular thing was. The lobster roll was a bit too salty for us but the lobster grilled cheese was decent. It came with a small bisque that was forgettable Overall, I probably wouldn't visit again.

Amazing lobster rolls! I would say this has the best lobster rolls hands down!It is in a food hall with plenty of parking. We sat outside. The weather was perfect. You can bring dogs to the outdoor seating area.

Not your average grilled cheese sandwich. Came stuffed with an ample amount of lobster and a small side of their lobster bisque perfect for dipping. The bread is nice and buttery to complement the lobster. Heavy but delicious meal to be shared.

This restaurant exists within a food court and seems unassuming. There is a lot of seating both inside and outside! The staff here was helpful; I was torn between the Truffle Roll and the Lobster Roll but he pushed for my getting the lobster roll since it comes out warm unlike the truffle one.Lo and behold, it was absolutely fire. There was a good amount of juicy lobster pieces and the bread was buttery and crispy. I wish it was even bigger so that I could savor it for longer.

The BEST Lobster Rolls in San Diego The Lobster Roll and Cali Roll were so gorgeous and exceeded our expectations! So remarkable and impressive! The lobster meat was super succulent and fresh! Perfection in EVERY BITE!!I loved the clam chowder and the lobster bisque!! Great for dunking!! Amazing flavor!!The Caviar with toasted brioche is light and flavorful!! The Lobster Grilled Cheese was loaded with ooey gooey cheese goodness!Indoor and outdoor seating available. The Windmill Food Hall is a cool spot in Carlsbad!! Casual dining. It does get busy. Fantastic customer service!!

Located inside the Windmill Food Hall. So far I've only ordered the lobster with the options of warm with butter or cold with mayo. I'm a lobster with mayo girl. I thought it was very tasty. The brioche bun was well buttered and toasted. The lobster chucks weren't skimpy. Will definitely return to try other menu items.

After a long and exhausting day at Legoland, I had no energy to go out to eat and I found this place on DoorDash. I actually had no idea there was different styles of lobster rolls and ended up going with an XL Connecticut style and it did not disappoint. It hit the spot and I ate the entire thing in about 5 minutes. It's packed with lobster meat and normally I wouldn't be able to eat the entire thing but an amusement park day with 2 kids is whole different story.

Lobster Lab is located at the Windmill Food Hall. We ordered the lobster roll, clam chowder, caviar, crab roll, tuna melt, and a grilled cheese sandwich. Everything here was delicious and had quality ingredients! My favorite was the caviar with toasted brioche. It was so light and flavorful. Their lobster roll was also so fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm craving for seafood goodness.

Came to the Windmill Food Hall recently and decided to get some food here again because I really enjoyed it my first time around. What I got:- Lobster grilled cheese: This was so good! They are really generous with the lobster and it was perfect. It also comes with this bisque as a dip which compliments the sandwich really well.- Caviar: These bites were really good as well! I was a little hesitant on trying this because some places serve caviar that are way too salty -- not this place, you could tell that they actually care about the quality of the food they put out.- Coleslaw: This was good too, I got it predominantly because I wanted something to balance out all the flavors of everything else we got and the coleslaw did its job lol. Overall, I would come here again. The food is good, the service was great, and the vibe of the food hall is really casual. There are plenty of seating throughout the food hall and some outdoor seating as well. The weekends can get really busy, but it is a fun spot to hang out and grab a bite.
