Lloyds Upscale Street Food

Wow! We stumbled across Lloyd's Upscale Street Food on the DoorDash app. Only found a few reviews for them on Google but all were positive, and the menu sounded too tasty to pass on. We ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Garlic Butter Lemon Pepper Wings (comes with fries) to share between 2 people. The food arrived hot and well-packaged, to my personal relief because I didn't want soggy wings - the risks of food delivery, right? Kudos to our courier! The wings were wonderfully, perfectly cooked, moist and so flavorful with a slight tart kick from the lemon pepper, and a nice crispy outside. The breading was the right amount, too. I admittedly don't normally care for chicken wings but I am a fan of Lloyd's! Lobster Mac was outstanding- pasta is nicely al dente (we were both fans of the texture), well-seasoned, not over-salted, and was cheesy and creamy throughout. What a pleasant find today! Will definitely order from again, can't wait to try more items off their menu. Thank you, Lloyd's Upscale Street Food!

Average experience. Certainly surprisingly considering this comes from one of those virtual kitchens which I also vowed to never return to again. Nonetheless I'll started from bad & work my way up. The jerk chicken birria tacos were dry & had no flavor. Not even the accompanying dipping sauce could help. The mac and cheese was ok, nothing to complain nor brag about. The chicken wings had a pretty good flavor & were quite crispy to say the least. The fries that were underneath the chicken were seasoned well. Lastly the lobster ravioli was extremely creamy & rich. I'm nit sure the lobster was cooked well enough however it could a close 2nd to the best thing on the menu which in my opinion is the chickens wings.

This food is phenomenal! Note they're moving locations and the phone number is incorrect. Tried the Henny and Garlic lemon pepper wings and the salmon and jerk chicken Alfredo. The only complaint is that I never feel I order enough food! They use fresh pasta in their Alfredo which elevates the dish! The wings are perfectly cooked and well seasoned! They also follow order notes on Uber Eats! I love this spot and can't wait until the reopen in their new location.

We were hesitant to try this place. Our last night in Chicago and we didn't feel like going out so we looked for something we could get delivered. Not a lot of reviews out there, but the one we found was glowing so we gave it a try. Don't hesitate. This place blew us away. The garlic butter lemon pepper wings were phenomenal. They were delivered crispy and the rub was delicious. Husband loved the Henny wings and fried Oreos. We also ordered the jerk Alfredo just in case we didn't like the wings (which we did) and it was delicious too. Bottom line, you can't go wrong here. Chicagoans, don't let this place go away. Support this local small business. Chef Lai, well done. This meal was the best way to say goodbye to Chicago, even if I didn't get to visit the Jordan statue.

Best food I've ordered using uner eats! Mac & cheese was delicious and gooey. The wings were crunchy and well seasoned! If you don't know about Lloyd's, you better ask somebody! I plan on telling everyone I know to try Lloyd's for themselves.
