Little Village Cafe

An absolutely incredible culinary experience. We stopped in here on a Saturday night for a late dinner and it really hit the spot. We started out with the eggplant dip, which I would highly recommend. For the main course, I ordered the Village Mixed Kebab and couldn't have left more satisfied. Definitely can't wait to come back. Great addition to the neighborhood.

A delicious meal right around the corner from where we were staying at Hotel Versey in the Lakeview neighborhood. The Chicken Kebabs and Shrimp Kebabs were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The restaurant was intimate and service top notch. Our waiter was great and made us feel welcome.

Good food with friendly service. We both enjoyed the chicken kabob and I would recommend the bulgur to accompany it, very tasty. We sat by the window so it was like being outside without dealing with the strong winds that day.

Absolutely promising. Everything we tried was delicious. Hope it gains traction. Real authentic recipes. Great portions. Looking forward to making this my go to place. Open for lunch is a bonus.

Friendly staff and tasty Turkish food. This Lakeview neighborhood has a wealth of ethnically diverse restaurants, so it's good to see Turkish food being added to the mix. I encourage Lakeview residents to give this place a try! The two times I've been here, the place has been empty, and I'm hoping they succeed. The owners should consider a new sign -- the current outdoor sign is very blah and barely legible, and doesn't seem likely to attract any curious passerby.

The Turkish restaurant is byob the waiters are friendly, the place is nice, the food is authentic and delicious.

Great little cafe. We came out here on Mother's Day with my MIL and the kids. Nice ambiance. Not pretentious, but dining can be business casual. They have several indoor tables and the kitchen is visible. The servers are extremely attentive and very accommodating. Excellent suggestions on portion size and the food was excellent. We went with several different dishes shared family style. Four dishes for 3 adults, 1 teen and a child that is a good eater with leftovers! Although we have not tried Turkish cuisine and have nothing to compare to it made it fun and adventurous. Everything was good, exploring new seasonings and flavors made this a wonderful experience. They work magic with brussel sprouts, it's a garnish but should be an appetizer.

Two thumbs up. Sat outside and ordered chicken kabobs and short rib. Both were fantastic. Only one waitress covering all of patio and inside, but she did surprisingly well. Would recommend!

This place is a bit of a surprise. It's in the old spot for Yango's burgers, so the ambiance is impacted by the prior interior setup. But the food is excellent! We ordered a steak dish which was perfectly cooked & quite tender. And the lamb chops and scallops were even better. Unfortunately they ran out of the spare ribs...It's not inexpensive - prices range from the teens to the mid 30s, and the selection is small - everything fits on one side of one page and oddly, no desserts on offer. OTOH, the portions are generous and it is BYOB. Worth the price, in our view.I recommend calling ahead to make sure they are open. Sidewalk tables available.

We got the Chicken Kebab, Caserol and the Pacceri pasta. It was all very good and we will definitely return! The serving sizes are great relative to the prices and the service was excellent and quick. It is BYOB and there is no alcohol available for purchase so plan accordingly.
