Little Sparrow is a top notch dining experience from start to finish. I have been twice now. The first time was for my wife's birthday and the second was actually by 13 year old's birthday. Both times there were personal touches on the table to celebrate the birthdays. For my daughters there was a handwritten card and handwritten notes from each of the staff members. The ambiance is high end but not over the top white table cloth. Very neat decor. Think French Bistro. Nice level is moderate to low.My favorite things so far: the bread & butter, the Genepy Highball (G&T), the tartare, the burger with reclette service on the frittes, the soufflé, and the evoo honey and fennel pollen ice cream. This is not a fast paced dinner so expect a nice paced meal. The two servers we have had are Abbey and Z. Both are fantastic. Little Sparrow puts together an amazing experience from the time you walk in until you leave. It is becoming one of my Atlanta favorites. Definitely book a table. Even on a Sunday night this place gets full, and for good reason.

Decided to try out the newest hype in West Midtown, we are generally a huge fan of anything Ford Frye.Started offf with the tartare and the French onion soup, I will say, the soup was mainly bread and hardly any soup, but to each their own.For our main, we did a MP fish, and the scallop dish. Both were devine, but not really worth the price. (I think I got 3 medium sized scallops for 48 bucks)Had 2 cocktails and a dessert and was handed the check before we even got the dessert, we over heard them say that we were behind and needed to leave for a reservation that was coming in soon. Not going to lie, paying 350 for a meal and being pushed out really made us salty. Glad we tried her out, but will likely not return. I personally think Bacchanalia is a better deal for 5 courses, even with more cocktails we would have come out on top. Parking is at West Side Provisions, valet is an option but we self parked for 6 dollars.

As Ford Fry expands the Atlanta empire, Little Sparrow has become one of the more recent openings at the end of 2023. The space takes on what used to be JCT kitchen, but remodeled entirely. An elegant environment, with spectacular selections to be savored. From excellent black caviar, to house baked breads, perfectly fatty Foie Gras and even a few French dishes uncommon in American restaurants, such as Steak Hache in La Vie en Rose main course. The service can be hit or miss, but averages out to an acceptable level for the type of establishment that this is. The outdoor patio is a bit odd as it almost blends into the same space as Forza Storico without much separation. Forza is an excellent place, but a much less expensive option, so coming to Little Sparrow loses some of its uniqueness when sitting outdoors. Thus, would strongly recommend the indoor option for an elegant and romantic experience. There is also a lack of proper champagne flutes, so it generally gets poured into burgundy glasses. A strange selection by the restaurant. All considered, Little Sparrow is an excellent restaurant to spend a weekend night or go on a date.

Dress code on the website says business casual. As a party of four, we arrived with the men in long pants and nice shirts and the ladies in sundresses. We noticed that there were many people seated indoors not abiding by the dress code. However, for some reason, the hostess took us outside to be seated. The temperature was 94°. I went back to the hostess stand and said we could not sit out in the heat in long pants having abided by their dress code. I suggested she seat the next party to arrive in shorts outside and give us an inside table. She said it would be a two hour wait. I said I am not happy and started to walk away. Her response was simply "OK". I returned to the table outside and agreed to suck it up and sit in the heat. Hostess come out and apologized for her response, but said there were still nothing she could do. It was the birthday of one of our party members and we had made them aware of that. However, when the drinks arrived, they had not put in his drink order and it did not show up. And when the dinner arrived, they only served three of us and the birthday guest did not receive his dinner. We sat there politely waiting for the fourth dinner. Eventually, we had to flag down the the waitress who checked on the fourth meal and said she was sorry it had not been input and that she would take it off of the meal. We all proceeded to share what we had been served and waited for the fourth order which was scallops. I personally had the halibut which was overcooked and dry. And when the fourth order finally arrived the scallops were undercooked.Even though the birthday meal was comped, the total dinner was still close to $400. If you have a dress code enforce it. If you are going to have to seat patrons with reservations, outdoors, make sure they are well aware of that before they arrive. The hostess did say that there was a small note on the reservation that mentioned that, but we obviously did not see it.And apparently whether you are seated indoors or outdoors, is based on the timeframe in which you made your reservation. The timeframe takes precedence over the dress code compliance.Pretty hard to recommend this place.

I dropped in for a quick appetizer and drink on a date night out. The service was outstanding. We didn't stay long but our waiter made sure to give us amazing service. He walked us through the menu slowly and he was funny! He spoke to me in French. I want to say, the shrimp appetizer was literally some of the best shrimp I've had at a restaurant. I'm from the coast, and these were neck and neck. The flavors were outstanding. I didn't want it to end. I got their $10 martini and I swear it was the strongest martini I've ever had. I had to breathe after each sip. Haha. I want to come back for dinner to give this restaurant the last star. The vibe is moody and a little sexy. Perfect for a date.

I visited Little Sparrow for the first time with a friend, and it felt like stepping into a cozy corner of Paris. The decor is intimate and charming. I started with the French Onion soup--a rich, aromatic broth with slivered onions and a generous layer of melted cheese throughout. Next, I tried the Ricotta Gnudi, delightful little cheese balls drizzled with a unique pistachio oil blend. The bread served with creamy, homemade-tasting butter was a highlight. For my main course, I chose La Vie En Rose (Finely minced Ground Beef Steak). While the dish wasn't my favorite, it was beautifully presented. The Frites, especially when ordered with Raclette, were absolutely delicious. For Drinks I ordered 2 Second Verse which was a crisp Vodka beverage! I'm definitely returning to try the burger next time!

In the same location as JCT was, which was one of my favorites. The decor is nice and warm. Our service was excellent! We ordered the Onion Soup and Beets for starters. We both preferred the beets over the soup, too much cheese for us between both dishes plus they give you a baguette and butter, so I was getting diary'ed out! The baguette was warm, which is a plus! So glad there is a place that still serves complimentary bread and butter!!For entrees we order the Chicken Schnitzel and Halibut. These dishes are great if you are looking for a light dish that feels on the healthier side. The Chicken had a nice crisp with lovely greens. The halibut was served in a nice Le Creuset dish with mussels and lobster pieces mixed in. It did have a hint of spice to it. I am not a fan of salty food so to some it may taste bland but to us it was perfect. With that said each person will have a different opinion here. We ended with the evoo, honey, and bee pollen soft serve and basque cheesecake. We both were bigger fans of the soft serve . Don't mean the cheesecake wasn't good, just means there was a clear winner. All and all it was a nice evening out to dinner.

Love the moody atmosphere and service here! However, the food was just okay. There's definitely better French options in the city.
