I love Little Rey as a casual place to gather with friends! They margaritas are outstanding and the chips are so crisp and the cheese dip is perfect. Plus they have a self-serve bar of sauces. My favorite is the ranch cilantro jalapeño. It's good on everything! We ordered at the counter and got a table and the food was delivered to our table. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the counter, where we ordered, to the servers delivering our food.I loved the Dulce de leache ice cream, which you can order at the time you order your food and they will give you a wooden coin to bring back when you're ready for dessert.

The atmosphere is great. The patio and indoor area are spacious, hip, and the seating is plentiful. It's a semi-casual restaurant and doesn't call for you to be extremely fancy. The parking is free and there is plenty of it! The way you order is sort of odd for the volume of this restaurant. You order first and then seat yourself. We've stood outside just to get inside, but the line moves at a steady pace. The food was just okay. I was upset to see their health score was a 83/B. We ordered a little bit of everything. Quesadillas, tacos, rice, beans, sweet potatoes, queso, and a salad. Everything was just under seasoned and just lukewarm. For drinks, they offer frozen margaritas, beer, and a couple small items. There is not a full bar and I didn't see any wine either. I'd probably not come back for the food, but maybe to chill on the patio and grab a drink.

I went to Little Rey without any background information but quickly asked if there was a Ford Fry / Superica connection. There indeed is! The restaurant has a fun aesthetic. However, I wasn't expecting the very casual counter-ordering, deliver-at-your-table-with-a-number vibe. It's definitely great for a quick weekday evening meal but I would skip for a more special occasion. I ordered a Rio Red Margarita and Queso with chips to start followed up by a second Rio Red and a Carnitas Quesadilla. All of the food was casual and approachable while also being really tasty. I did think the Rio Red Margarita was on the pricey side at $12 for the larger size. The "larger" size was still a small cup being dispensed from a pre-mde machine. Thankfully, there was a huge rainstorm that kept us at Little Rey longer than planned. We all ended up ordering ice cream, but I topped mine with homemade Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and it was unbelievably good. 12/10. Look forward to returning

Little Rey is one of our favorite Atlanta stops. We were really excited about how close to the battery this new location is so went prior to a game. For starters, this space hosts a completely different clientele than the original location. It is a wonderful spot to come with your kids and friends and has a large outdoor space for everyone to hang out. As a parent this place is a dream. My husband and I were on a date night and the only party in sight without a child. They also offer an outdoor bar to grab a drink while you're waiting which was a huge plus. The food was equally as good as the original. My only complaint was how slow the line moved. There is always a line at the original but it moves quickly. This line on the other hand simply didn't budge. I'm not sure if this was intentional, a fluke or them working out some kinks as a new space but it was really bad. We finally realized we could order to go at the window so went and did that and had we not done so we definitely would have had to leave without food. To put this into perspective - when we left 40 minutes later the spot we were at in line still had not ordered and we were hardly outside the door when we got out of line. So pro tip- order your food to go and then sit at a table with it when the line is long.

I stopped in for a to go order on a Friday evening. The line was long! I am not sure if it's because the spot is new, but expect to wait if you are dining here on a Friday night. However, I did learn that if you just want to place a to go order you can do that at the walk up window! I waited about 15-20 minutes in line prior to making it to the register to place an order. I opted for the chicken wings ( I read they were good), chips and salsa, and the Esqueleto salad. After placing the order it took about 15 minutes to be ready. The wings were just ok to me. Not the best smoked wings I have had. They are a little tough and not tender. I would not order them again. I was told the chips were made in house. They were tasty as was the salsa. The salad was amazing! Overall the service was great, I enjoyed the majority of my food. As such, I am sure I will be back to try more of the menu.

This place is about to blow up. Glad that I work right next to it. Excellent restaurant all the way around. Really upbeat atmosphere thanks to how the places is built and layout- the staff makes it what it is above all else. I will be back very often this area of Buckhead needed a quality restaurant really bad. As soon as the word gets out this place will be packed all the time. Great prices for quality food and services!!!

Came for the opening party. 10/10, tacos maybe better than the OG.Coming from someone who lived in ATX this spot is close! Good flavors, good atmosphere, good ice cream, good margs. Good vibes overall. Outdoor seating too, and seems to be dog friendly!

Love this spot! Same restaurant group as Superica (so many of the salsas and sauces are the same). It's essentially a more casual and self-serve version of Superica. However, there are many more salad options and chips and sides are a la carte. The service was great and the vibes of the restaurant are incredible! I definitely will be coming back to Little Rey.

Their newest location carried over flawless consistency from their piedmont location...WITH TONS OF PARKING. Cozy and casual atmosphere with large outdoor area and even a place for the kids to run around! You order your food at the counter with the super knowledgeable staff, they had you a card for your table stand, and they bring it to you! Don't forget to grab sauces and silverware! The food is always well seasoned and fresh. I spend a small fortune here weekly so I'm clearly biased but if you love a well-balanced but strong margarita...I'll see you there!
