Honestly my favoritest brewery!First, it's in a cute little nook of a nice La Mesa shopping center. It's open late too, which is a rarity for a brewery. It closes at 11 during the week and 12 on Fri/sat, which is a real treat not having to go to a bar & being able to stay low key. Many a good night has been had hanging out & talking the night away here.Secondly, their brews & beers are actually incredible! My favorites are the peach and/or strawberry cream ales. The Irish red is also a stellar choice. There's also a good selection of lagers, stouts, and even seltzers (all good too).Third, and lastly is the adorable theme & vibe.Little Miss is a local chain with locations throughout SD, and each has its own "theme"/country. La Mesa is Canadian themed, so it's got moose, flag, decorations, etc. Other locations are USA, Russia, England, Italy, Germany, etc. The staff is always nice & helpful, will let you try everything before landing on the beer for you. Beers are $5 before 7pm, so a nice "all day happy hour".Overall, cannot praise this small business & their product enough.

For a few years now I've been stopping in here and have to say it is a cool spot with chill vibes and as for the beer it has been slightly above average for the IPA styles and dark beers. The sour beers are kettle sours which is a simpler process, thus less complexity and overall taste. They are still worthy though considering, and come out with some creative flavors that are fruit based like mango, pineapple, and cherry. Minimal tartness but that is expected. A good way to get introduced to sour beers in general. Everyone is friendly here except one guy... I don't know his name, but it was an instant star removal for me and has been a slight deterrent for me to return..During the COVID pandemic, they had beers to go only, and I got their prowler pack. This was a soft, lunch style cooler to hold 6 small 16oz mason jars (filled with beer) for $30. These 6-pack refills are just $20, so this is 6- 16oz pints for a mere $20! Cannot be matched anywhere I tell you. Maybe this has increased since my last mason jar fill. These are the types of things that make this place unique and really cool. They have a mug club for $30 a year that gets you 20oz pours instead of 16oz. Can use at any location, and they have many. Also, they have a passport that you stamp from each location, once you have all the stamps you'll get a special shirt for reaching this milestone. So, I have one of these passports and just completed the journey of all locations- and got my special shirt!

Tucked away in La Mesa is a gem of a spot called Little Miss Brewing, and it's pouring out charm faster than maple syrup on a stack of pancakes. This cozy brewery takes a unique twist with a WW2 allies theme, and this particular branch tips its hat (or should I say, hockey helmet) to Canada. It's like stepping into a friendly northern lodge where the beer flows as freely as the conversations. The atmosphere is all about camaraderie and good times, a tribute to the spirited and oh-so-apologetic Great White North. Between the rustic vibes and the echoes of "eh?" you might just forget you're in Southern California and start looking out for moose. The decor? Spot on. It's got more Canadian flair than a Mountie's uniform on Canada Day!The beers are as hearty and welcoming as a Canadian lumberjack. Each brew is crafted with the precision of a Zamboni smoothing over ice, and believe me, they're good enough to make any beer lover sing "O Canada" with gusto. And while they don't serve poutine, the vibe alone is worth packing your flannel. So, whether you're a beer enthusiast or just in it for the cultural flair, Little Miss Brewing in La Mesa is a spot not to be missed. Cheers to beers, buddies, and the land of Brrrs and Eh's!

Rude guy serving beer today. When I walked in nobody was behind the counter except for a 12 year old boy. I waited a minute and nobody came to the counter to serve me. I thought for a sec, is the kid working here? Then finally a man approaches from the back and serves us and is the rudest dude I ever met. I tried to strike up a friendly conversation about the other Little Miss Brewing locations and for some reason the guy was rude. Maybe just having a bad day with all the kids in the place but not coming back here that's for sure.

Good selection of craft beer and plenty of seating. The staff are super friendly and they have fun trivia nights frequently! The food vendor "eat wet tacos" is BOMB. Best birria ever. We would come back!

I mean this place is walking distance so that's a plus. Also dog friendly patio out front. But as many times as I've been here I've never actually finished a beer, the beer is uninteresting. The decor is WWII and the Little Girl name must relate to war in some way. I mean, who doesn't want a beer in a war bunker? The name is bizarre I always feel strange going to a bar themed about little girls. The bar tenders in La Mesa always seem like they'ed rather be somewhere else. I keep coming back hoping that something cool is going on but, no. The patio area is nice if you like watching crowded parking lots and freeway off-ramps. I don't get it, it's like a bar because Bar!
