FYI, it's been renamed Ma's House as of this review.Order: Black Pepper and Mushroom Chicken with Eggrolls and Thai Tea with Boba.This feels like a chinese restaurant for white people, and I do NOT mean that as a pejorative. The dish I ordered was delicious, although the dinner menu does not give you white rice with it, which would have been a nice addition. The chicken was moist, and the veggies crips. The eggrolls had a light crisp exterior with a soft interior, very good. I was one of two tables when I went in, so service was fast and attentive, but not overbearing. Gold star to the guy running the place that day and the kitchen staff.As said, it was near empty and quiet when I was in there. The place is clean, and the booths are spacious. It's a little pricy for regular eating, in my opinion, but it's somewhere I'd take my wife when we want a nice dinner. 10/10 would eat here again.

Btw this place is now known as Ma's House.We got the lamb with cumin, tofu with brown sauce, and the salt and pepper sole fillet.Everything was good. It definitely hit that itch for Chinese dishes that are not as common in Chinese restaurants in North County and Poway which is really nice. Will definitely be back to try more dishes because they have so many. Will probably want to try the filet mignon, the wonton soup, and the xiao long baos.

Little Kitchen has new signage: it's now Ma's House.We had lunch and were able to peruse the new Ma's menu. There's a 'dim sum' section with scallion pancakes / bread that will be available soon. We'll return to try those. I've reviewed our Chicken w/Snowpeas and 1/2 Crispy Fried Duck on the Ma's House Yelp page.It was definitely a great meal at Ma's and we will definitely return!

I've been to Little Kitchen many times now. Went there today for lunch and new signage went up under the name of Ma's House. Still under the same ownership. The owner is hoping it'll bring in more patrons under this name because he has a location in Clairemont Mesa and two in OC. The menu is the same but will expand to what the current Ma's House is offering on Clairemont Mesa.

We really enjoyed the food here! We had the Xia Bao appetizer and it was tasty! Along with their freshly made in house three ingredient noodles. I had never had noodles like that before, they were definitely unique.We also had their orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. Both really crispy and flavorful. The portions were very generous too. We will definitely return!

Just ate here last night and I should have taken pictures!! I'm so excited Poway has authentic Chinese cuisine now. We ordered cream cheese wontons and orange chicken because come on, yum. But the stars of the show were the crispy half duck and the house made chow mein noodles! I don't even like noodle dishes and this one was freaking amazing. Our waiter was so personable and helpful and made the dining experience that much better. The atmosphere is small, family owned, clean, and excited to be open. Poway, try this place out and fall in love like we did. I don't want this gem to go anywhere else!!

Had to check by his place out because I'd heard good things about it on local SM. Didn't realize it had been turned into a nice sit down restaurant. We were kinda in a hurry so the person at the front suggested we get take out. We did and it was ready in maybe less than 10 min. We ordered Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken. Both had good flavor. Service was great as well. We'll be back.
