Little India

An extra star for the prices here.We love visiting here whenever we are in that area. In fast we almost go every time we visit that side of the town. The reason being they have some really good fast and is vert reasonable too, Few seating tables and even the store but we usually get the seat to sit and eat. I would highly recommend this place for the taste. Don't expect ambiance though.

Food - Horrible . Go there only if you believe , the only way to loose weight is stomach upset. New Owners - RUDE. In my google review they wrote , if you want to come then good else ok. Don't hide behind internet. Read my google review and their reply is attached to this reviewAmbience - Except the tables which has a new light with number , it's the old look. It's decent.

The food quality is TRASHHHHHH!!!They are not clean , doesn't wash their hands , my whole family was throwing up after just ordering Dhal, and the mutter paneer and aloo sabji. We feel sick. Please save ur stomach & money And when I called to complain they had the audacity to tell us it's prob something else we ate ???When we were completely fine until we got their damn food. As a owner of a restaurant, be understanding & listen to ur customers Never again

So first the management has changed over past 1 month or so. I live in Mesa for past 10 years and always like Little India so this is the first time I felt I need to write a review. I wasnt happy about the food at all. The supposedly "Valley Famous" Samosas do not taste good. The supposedly "Valley Famous" Chole Bhatura has a bad taste to it. I think with management change the cool has also changed as it used to be the previous aunty who cooked before and now the food tastes bad. The prices have doubled with decrease in taste and quality.The new management says now they have the kitchen as the best and most clean environment than before but what is the point if good does not taste good. Anyway not going here again and would recommend you to do so as well.

Little India is a small spot with grocery cum chaat place. Being near to the Univ it probably attracts a lot of students, but its definitely small. All of their dishes are either hit or a miss deal. We went there for dinner and ordered Pav Bhaji, Dahi puri, Sev Puri, Chole Batura, Panipuri and Vada Pav. In all of them, Dahi puri tasted the best. The curry quantities for Pav bhaji and Batura was so less and wasn't enough at all. When my friend went up to ask for some extra pickle, he was told, we were already been given one, its not like we weren't paying for it though. Average place for a quick bite, don't expect more than that!

They have good. Indian snacks item. Other day tried Kachori chaat and aloo sabji and puri, it was awesome. The tea was okay not that great. It is also a grocery store so if you need some Indian masala this can't go wrong! Shop as your snack gets ready

I really miss the old menu!!! The rice is different and super oily now, the Matar Paneer doesn't taste as good as the original recipe!! I've been going to this place for over 10 years. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD RECIPES!!!!!

Great food! Service can be slow but the authentic taste definitely makes up for it. Good prices too!

I visited this store after a very long absence because I relocated to a different part of the valley. I happened to be in Tempe and I was hungry. I decided to stop there to eat. I was pleasantly surprised. I think the ownership has changed hands probably more than once.The store has always had a small cafe inside. It has undergone a change in appearance and its order placement has been modernized. They have new tables and seats that looked clean and nice. One can place order on their screen and enter the table number before paying with a credit card. Their person helped me place the order since the system was new to me. After I placed my order, my food arrived within just a few minutes. The food was tasty.In the store and the cafe I felt that the prices have gone up, but haven't we experienced this everywhere? The service has vastly improved. At the checkout I didn't have to wait for someone. This store has undergone a big positive change in the cafe. The store has a good selection of items (food and non food). I didn't spend a lot of time shopping, so I may have missed some details but I was happy with what I saw. The frozen section appeared to have some empty areas. I may have just caught them before their order arrived.Will definitely visit again when I am in east valley.

Terrible Dal and Aaloo . No flavor in samosas. Good is very spicy and has no flavor. Ladoos are stale and Rasgulla out of box . Bhatura and Poories are too oily. Too pricey and bad quality. Go to Orange Tommy instead. Previous owners had much better food. Will never go here again .
