Little Foodies is a new skewer and hot pot place in BelRed that we decided to check out after seeing a few foodie friends on IG go.We got there around 6 PM on a Friday and managed to snag a table despite other reservations. So be sure to make a reservation before coming, because it got crowded quickly!Based off a tip from the same foodie friends, we decided to forgo the soup skewers, hot pot or live fish pot and focused our attention on the bbq skewers. We're very glad that we did this.We ordered the following:-Lamb skewers x4-Beef skewers x2-Lamb leg-Chives-Cilantro roll-Toast-Eggplant with egg-Ramen noodle dish-Sliced potato-Green pepper-Soy noodle wrapsWe initially thought we had over-ordered, but this was enough for four hungry people to tackle! The beef skewers were definitely my favorite - fatty and charred to perfection. The lamb skewers were also good but for some reason didn't arrive as hot as the beef skewers. An unexpected favorite was the eggplant with egg, which was a grilled eggplant with an egg on top that you'd mix inside. Soo good. The lamb leg was tasty as well.We probably wouldn't get the cilantro roll or the toast again, though. The one bummer perhaps was that they ran out of a lot of chicken skewers as well as cucumber salad. So they ended up giving us a free potato stick salad, which was really good. They did forget about an enoki dish we had ordered, but at least we caught that. They also gave us free sliced cantaloupe while we were waiting for our food Would totally come back!

Great Chinese BBQ! Most food taste good and some of them just not my type of food. Not spicy enough for me but great for people who don't eat spicy food. Great service! A little bit hard to find parking spot during busy time.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Bellevue and so underrated. Consistent quality and every friend I took here ended up coming back!My go to is the sauerkraut fish with tofu, spam, and enoki mushroom. The fish is so fresh and well cooked. It's not slimy or fishy and the flavor of the sauerkraut is soaked into the meat. They also get rid of most bones for you which I love as well. Perfect in terms of flavor and spiciness! They used to give out complimentary fried fish bone which is the most delicious thing I've had. It's crunchy, spicy, and super addicting. I always call in and ask if they have fish bone before making a visit.I also highly recommend the skewers here especially the pig intestine. It's not stinky and super chewy and flavorful. It's dangerous because I always end up ordering more and more. A solid place that I will keep bringing my friends to! 5/5 without a question:p

My boyfriend and I came to Little Foodies after a long day of work and shopping because we saw that they close late and we were craving skewers! It's wonderful that they're open later - very versatile. Although there's a screen at the front for joining a waitlist, we were able to get seated immediately as the restaurant was not too busy. We ordered 5 sets of skewers, and it took around 15-20 minutes to receive our food. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Hearts, they're surprisingly really great. The Dried Bean Curd (aka tofu skin) was a little too spicy, but the flavoring on the rest of the skewers was great. I think the value is amazing and would love to come back and try their tin foil hot pot.

This is an authentic somewhat hidden gem place in Bellevue that my friend showed me, mostly known for skewers but they also have a large serving of fish that she frequently orders in the past. The menu is nicely designed, and they are attentive to detail: plastic ziplock bag to hold your mask, coffee cups filled with water which was interesting, and everything is clean. We started off with some sweet potato fries with condensed milk on the side, which actually paired quite well, as well as some fried dough. Both of these were complementary. As we had 4 people, we shared the volcanic cask live fish in classic sauerkraut with luncheon meat, tofu, and enoki mushroom. There is a slight tanginess but there is a wonderful conglomerate of spices including numbing spicy dried peppers. The fish is very tender and juicy, and it is, as advertised, enough for 3 people. The dish is served in a very large bucket, but it is a little deceiving as the food contained only is about half the height of the bucket. Regardless, the cherry on top is that they don't waste the fish bone - they deep fry it and the bones have a consistency of soft shell crab with a nice sweet and spicy marinade that is great to munch on the side, with rice. We also ordered lamb skewers and intestine skewers, both of which were nicely marinated, but they are not as good as the skewers I had in other places. Particularly the lamb, it had great flavor but it was a lot less subtle than anticipated.Service is adequate, though a bit slow when considering the restaurant is quite tiny with multiple servers. Water didn't refill until right when we finished our meal, and I was short on water to quench the spiciness of some of the dishes, so that was a slight miss. Otherwise, the food is enjoyable and I'd say the fish here is better than their skewers.

Fish in Bucket! Did it taste better, or just for presentation? Whatever, it was a little overpriced, at a promotion for $59 while the list price was about $90. The fish filet was boiled in the bucket, and fish bone (and head) was deep fried. The combo also included 2 boiling pot choices (e.g. sliced lotus root and luncheon pork), fried sweet potato (红薯条) and dough (炸油条). One ***disappointment***: the left-over was not packed with soup - losing some value for reusing at home.

Would highly recommend little foodies! We came here around 10:15 after an exhausting day exploring mount rainier. It was one of the few places that open till this late. On our way back to Seattle We called ahead to make sure we could order by the time we get there since they close at 11. The service was incredible. The guy allowed me to place our order through phone so we wouldn't have to wait. Once we entered the place, we saw a table full of yummy steaming hot skewers waiting for us. Everything was pretty good. I think I enjoyed the grilled eggplant, chicken wing skewer and beef skewer the most. Their shrimp fried rice REALLY hit the point. Since skewers tend to be heavy on flavors, the fried rice was a really good choice to balance things out. I wish they had 烤馒头片. The bread didn't stand out to me. Also I wish they could offer 疙瘩汤 which in my opinion also goes well w skewers and help food go a bit more smoothly into the stomach. Really hope I could come back in the future!!

Take note, this place is not called "Little Foodies," and the storefront photos on Google maps aren't correct. It's not easy to find if you use Google maps. :) BUT if you go to the address on the map, and walk into the BBQ karaoke place that's located there (I forgot the name of it), that's it. They'll tell you it's also "Little Foodies." (I don't know the story if the ownership recently changed or whatever, but once we found it, we knew we were in the right place). Reviews heavily recommended the bone fish & it looked amazing, but sadly, they no longer serve this. Also, many of the items on the menu weren't actually available (as in, ever, not that they were out). Our server mentioned a few times that the menus aren't up to date. (That's a head scratcher)Service itself was good. And the food delicious. Beware that "Mild" is pretty , and their chicken skewers come already premade . Our favorite were the cucumber salad and the lamb skewers. We also liked the modern decor inside.

Little Foodies is an authentic hidden gem in the Belle-red area! Well-known for their skewers, my friends and I were able to dine-in last Friday. The quality of service was great - staff were very friendly and checked in on us regularly. I don't really notice the cleanliness of restaurants, however I did appreciate the added touch of small plastic bags at each table to put your mask in (I think that's what those were for)!Everything was very good, one of my friends had ordered in Chinese so I'm not really sure what we got ourselves into, but it all tasted great! We got a range of skewers from beef, lamb, and chives, as well as a ramen dish and some bread! All of the items had a great marinade, however the ramen dish was a bit too vinegar-y, and our toast included the ends, which aren't anyone's favorite. My main concern from our experience was the wait time - luckily my friends and I were chatting amongst ourselves the entire time but it had taken almost an hour for even one of our dishes to arrive! Times between food were very inconsistent so we would eat a bit, get hungry again, eat a bit more, and repeat the cycle. It didn't really seem like the restaurant was super busy/packed, staff didn't seem like they were in much of a hurry so this was a bit of a surprise to us.All in all, I would certainly go back, given a shorter wait time for food!
