Really great food! I don't usually like rolls that are too "out there" however we tried their "Bonecrusha" and their "El Maniakz". It was very good. To be fair, this place is advertised as a sushi place and they only have a few rolls. Regardless, their "bonecrusha" has to have been the best sushi roll I've ever had. Service was good. Nothing incredible, but she checked up regularly and was polite. There was never a bad interaction or a time where I was irritated. Ambiance was really awesome!!! Very nice low lighting, beautiful decor everywhere. Overall a 10/10 dining experience.

Recommend to valet at hotel. It's pricey but they literally detail your car while you're at dinner. I had no idea and was so happy after we got our car. Inside and out!! So that was a plus. Anyway, restaurant is so cute. We were stay at a large table with a leather couch and was so low to table, but the host did offer alternative table but we chose to stay because it was comfortable. Haha Drinks very nice! They have anything you want. We ordered sushi and boy, was it spectacular. We had some salmon nigiri which were so fresh and melted in your mouth. Excellent quality fish. We tried bezerk, geisha, meniakz, surf & turf, goddess. All great, but meniakz my favorite. The waitress and all the helpers were so attentive and helpful. Always asking if we needed anything, brining water, taking dirty plates. We shared dessert and strawberry shortcake was not only very tasty, but so cute. Great experience!

3.5 stars. Went for Friday night dinner. Got the crispy rock shrimp, tuna nigiri flight and the angry white fish. The rock shrimp was very tasty, came out hot and perfectly crispy. Tuna nigiri was disappointing. The tuna lacked flavor. The temperature was off too. The white fish was also really bland. And I've had branzino before. It doesn't have to be bland. The best part of the dinner was the garlic pita that the branzino came with. That was flavorful and warm. We devoured the pita. Drinks were okay. I got the flora and forbidden fruit. The flora was fruity but not too sweet. I asked for fruity recommendations and those were the recs. I didn't like the forbidden fruit but they were ok with me sending it back and exchanging it. Service was pretty good. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Although everything comes out real slow. We went for our anniversary and they offered us free champagne or cake. That was nice of them.

Service and ambiance are great but the food was a little lacking. Came here for dinner and was looking forward to the seafood dishes but the tuna and kampachi were flavorless. The sauce on the tuna pizza was the saving grace but we were disappointed in the fish quality. The lobster spaghetti was slightly better but the lobster itself was pretty salty. The only dish I would recommend are the oysters which was very fresh.

Salmon Nigiri - This was so smooth and buttery. I was amazed by first bite. Would definitely get again if I came back.Spaghetti Lobster - This was good but I wish the spaghetti had a little more flavor. The lobster was super buttery and soft though which I loved.Spicy Grilled Octopus - The octopus had good texture and had a slight kick to it.Tuna Tartare - I wish they served this with something lighter. I felt like the fried piece they served it with was too heavy and took away from the flavor of the tuna.Big-Eye Tuna Pizza - This was interesting with the texture of the tortilla chip but flavor was okay.Kampachi Crudo - This was probably my least favorite dish. It was refreshing but I wasn't a big fan of the flavor.Specialty Salmon Sashimi - This came out last so I had high hopes for it after trying the Salmon Nigiri first but it was also okay. Probably wouldn't get again.Overall, the place isn't bad. I like the ambience of the restaurant. It's good for dates or celebrations. The service is good but nothing crazy. For the price, I was expecting to be impressed by most of the dishes but it was mostly mediocre so I probably won't be back.

Back in town and back with a $75 daily credit from The Pendry with only a few hours to use it. Good thing I didn't eat lunch.I started with an order of the Bacon Wrapped Bacon and it was just as good as last time.Past that, $50 Chicken & Waffles. I should probably say more than that, but I'm really not sure what else to write. This stands up to any other I've gotten and it does it with an interesting Asian flair through the mochi waffles & hot sauce.Service was excellent with multiple team members checking on me, but not so much that I felt pestered.

Im super late with this review...Anyway.. had dinner here last month. The restaurant is nice. Service was good. The food was really good. I had the lobster noodles and they were really tasty. This place gets crowded for dinner so I would definitely recommend a reservation.

Tips: -make a reservation beforehand, -come 15 mins before the reservation for adequate driving and parking in downtown San DiegoThe vibe of the restaurant is between casual and dressy. There is a range of people coming to dine in with friends, coworkers, family, chill sports enthusiasts. Parking: If you're coming here on a weekend night there's no chance of finding street parking. Some streets get closed for the night and there are a multitude of people walking around downtown San Diego area. There is a parking structure located on Sixth Ave and J Street that is pretty pricey if you come between certain transition hours. *Please refer to the pictures.Service: Great customer service, the waiters and waitresses work together to bring food quickly. Known for their seafood, they have an array of cuisine specialties that range from Asian to Mexican style inspirations. Geisha specialty roll: Has a crunchy exterior enveloped in fresh fish. I would say that the sauce on the plate is a bit sour to pair with the roll. Spaghetti Lobster sauce consistency is similar to uni cream than marinara sauce. The lobster was cooked well and had toasted garlic folded in between lobster meat.Crispy rock shrimp: This reminded me of honey walnut shrimp, but the sauce is replaced with gochujang and lemon sauce.

Amazing cocktails; underwhelming lobster spaghetti and rock shrimp. The "Flora" cocktail is an absolute game changer that slowly creeps up on you--and I allowed it because I ordered 3. Kudos to the mixologist. Now back to the food, the sushis and Kale salad were fantastic (they specialize in sushi after all). We had this amazing banana dessert after whose name escapes me now (because yes, we will again go back to the "Flora" drink that got your girl tipsy).Ambiance, presentation and service are a huge plus but parking downtown on a Saturday night no less will definitely put a dent on your wallet and experience. This is coming from someone who had to pay $40 for it.Lots of pre-gamers since the restaurant is next to a club. Also, I have to add this because I'm particular with restrooms... kudos for such a spotless women's lavatory. These folks are very detail oriented indeed.
