Lime & Lemon Indian Grill & Bar - Raleigh

Great food at a great price, with a ton of super friendly staff. Lime & Lemon Raleigh is my coworkers' go to Indian restaurant. I visited for the first time with a group of 10 on a Wednesday night. The staff was attentive, all of the dishes we ordered were great, and we took a bunch of food home to much on as leftovers.

I ordered Saag Paneer (hot). First, there was no flavor in this dish. It's my favorite Indian dish, imagine my disappointment. Also, no heat. None. I get it, I am American, but really ... Come on. Also ordered Tiki Masala paneer (hot). The flavor was lovely. Very good. The heat was, well, underwhelming. It was there, but still , expected more.I will try again, next time I am in the area. The place was very nice, the staff wonderful, but please look at your saag recipe and give me the magic word to unlock the heat.

My great friend and I were leaving PNC arena and decided on Lime and Lemon for an early dinner. We arrived 15 minutes before they opened, but were able to get seated at a booth. I love Lime & Lemon. The ambiance is perfect. The colors, the way the table is set, the glass water bottles and the amazing staff. We ordered our meal. I ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala and the butter naan. My friend ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and the garlic naan. The food and the service were both top notch. So much flavor and so fresh. The staff is super friendly and super attentive.

I stumbled upon this place on OpenTable while searching for a last-minute dining spot. It has really great reviews and certainly lived up to them. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance with booth, bar, and table seating options. They have a full bar with a menu that features a variety of unique cocktails--I highly recommend trying the spicy margarita (emphasis on spicy after you taste the rim) and the Indian mule; both were exceptional.The service was really great, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially since we're not connoisseurs of Indian cuisine. We had no complaints about any of the dishes served; everything was delicious.

I came here for dinner & was able to find a parking space in the rear of the business. No parking was available in front. There is also a parking deck nearby. I was greeted when I walked in and seated right away. My server was helpful and personable. The restaurant was spacious with several tables, booths, and a large bar. A nice selection of music including jazz and R & B played during my dining experience. I got the chicken tikka masala and butter naan bread. The chicken dish was served with rice. The portion size was enough for sharing. Although portions of my naan was a little over cooked, my food was good. I would def return to try other dishes.

The food here is phenomenal!! The staff was extremely accomodating, attentive, and friendly. Drinks are also a unique bonus. I recommend making a reservation because this place is very busy. It will not dissapoint. I had the vegetarian korma, my son had the butter chicken (so flavorful), and my husband enjoyed the boneless chicken briyani (which had some kick). Of course don't forget the naan!!

I ordered takeout but the food was amazing! Let's start with the inside. It's very nice and clean! It's perfect for a quick date night as well! The person that took our order gave us great service. She was very patient and knew so much about the menu. We tried the potatoes naan and it was delicious! I highly recommend! I did enjoy the butter sauce with the chicken as well. It was not spicy and they give you a large portion as well. Great spot!

This was my fourth time at Lime and Lemon but my first time reviewing it. This night we were seated immediately. The restaurant was fairly busy. We waited awhile before anyone arrived to take our drink order. I do like that they put a whole carafe of water on your table. I decided on the chicken saag with mild spice level. A previous time I ordered mild and it was very mild so the next time I ordered medium and it set my head on fire. Similarly, my husband had ordered medium before and found it not spicy at all so ordered spicy which set him on fire. Therefore, tonight we ordered mild for me and medium for him. Our food was good and flavorful but no spice at all in the mild and I tasted husband's medium and it was not spicy at all to me either. So, spice level seems to vary. Maybe it depends on who is in the kitchen that night. We did wait about 35 minutes for our food. But again, everything we have ever had there has been tasty and at lunch they even had lunch specials.

To begin, our server, Dayanidhi, was amazing!!! We ordered a blue lagoon drink (oh boy, so good), the chicken tikka masala (spice 4) and butter chicken (spice 3) with garlic naan. They have a spice scale 1-5, and let me recommend you not go above 3!!! I'm a baby from South Dakota, so I can't handle spice. 3 was a lot for me but I could do it. I think the quality and taste was good, I couldn't quite tell after the fifth bite because my taste buds were burned off lol. With my husbands tikka masala, the taste was great... but he was in tears from spice by the third bite. I couldn't help but laugh! We kept asking for more rice to wash down the spice, but that didn't help. Eventually, I kindly asked our server if there was any way he could make the masala on a spice level 2. We just couldn't eat it, that's how spicy it was. He brought it out with no issue. He was so nice. To end the meal (and to pair with our leftovers for home), we ordered butter naan. I'd never had butter naan and it was sooooooo much better than the garlic. I mean, who doesn't love butter??Overall, this was a very nice, fun date spot. Price was fine too for the food!

The food taste good and reasonable price. The service is great and the ambience is okay.
