2. Beef Teriyaki Combo with veggies and fried rice!
Teriyaki Chicken and grilled veggies over white rice. 6 bucks. Delicious.
Beef and Mushroom Teriyaki. Good, but not nearly as good as the chicken.

Found in the Eastgate mall food court. The chicken teriyaki is sooo good!!! The portions are huge! Made hot and fresh to order. Believe me, I was completely blown away. Ask for extra sauce on the teriyaki chicken.

I generally avoid food court anything. It's not a pompous attitude thing. It's all the bad experiences I've had in the past. We were due at Penney's salon at 5:00 and it was already 4:30, so we drove here and took our chances. While I'm no Japanese food connoisseur, this tasted pretty darn good to me. Mrs. E. being the teriyaki freak that she is, gave a thumbs up to both the Beef Teriyaki and the Chicken Teriyaki. I wasn't wild about the Vegetarian D'Lite, but the Chicken & Shrimp Tempura and the Maki roll were out of this world. Here's an added bonus. These kids speak fluent Spanish and they're super friendly. I can't wait to get back to the mall to see these folk! 12/21

Banger Food, Nice people, I like it! Always great service, always a friendly atmosphere! Literally the only reason I got to Eastgate Mall currently since the mall kind of went to poo with all the stores closing

For a mall food court, this place is decent. Their menu centers around teriyaki and you can get a sizeable meal for very little. I tried their shrimp and chicken teriyaki with fried rice. It was good but not stellar. Service is fast and reliable and the food was freshly made to order. I would try this place again if i was at a mall and hungry but wouldn't go out of my way to seek this place out.

Yihi Japan does one thing and does it well - teriyaki chickenThis eatery is in the food court just inside the main entrance of Eastgate Mall; and if you've been to a Sarku Japan or a Sakkio Japan, you know this food, as it is almost precisely the same menu - teriyaki chicken grilled on a flattop as you watch, paired with your choice of white rice, fried rice, brown rice, or noodles and/or grilled veggies (carrots, cabbage, and broccoli) for around 6 bucks a plateIf you are at Eastgate Mall and want to try this, they almost always have someone up front giving out free samples, and if they dont, just ask for one. Try a piece - its deliciousPortions are generous - light eaters will gets two meals out of this, and most hearty eaters will be satisfied with a single serving. If you want extra teriyaki sauce (they will offer it when your food is up) just say how many scoops you want. You can also order extra meat for around a buck and a half, or add some grilled shrimp for a couple of bucks. If you are still hungry, i recommend the maki rolls, which run about a buck each, and are basically one of the very best veggie egg rolls I have ever eaten.Strongly recommended

I'm from Seattle, where Teriyaki places are EVERYWHERE. I just moved to this area a few months ago and was craving some. Checked Yelp and the best place I could find nearby was Yihi Japan at Eastgate Mall. I made a special trip to get it and was definitely not disappointed. I was a little concerned about the mall itself - like WTH, is it even going to exist in a year? Some of the parking lot was growing weeds, reminded me of the Walking Dead in some parts. Anyway, I popped into the food court entrance and this place was one of maybe 3 or 4 food joints still open. There was a small line to get the food which was shocking. I ordered it "Seatle style" of course... white rice only, extra Teriyaki sauce. Honestly, it was better than many places I've been. The Teriyaki sauce wasn't as sweet as back home, which actually made it better somehow. Portions BIG. About what I'd expect to pay, around $9 for a big ol' container full. Guys who work there are really nice. I'll be back for SURE. Thanks Yihi Japan!

This food was pretty good for a Japanese restaurant in a dying mall. The staff was friendly and the food was made in about under 5 minutes. The chicken teriyaki was delicious and cheap. It was 7.99 or something like that. If I'm looking for a quick place for dinner and I'm in the area I would definitely go there again.

Absolutely disgusting. Their steamed rice was soggy and wore than microwaveable instant rice. Stay far away, they were also very pushy and chicken was inconsistent. The best stuff they gave as samples. They kept trying to upswell me on more expensive meals. 6.50 absolutely wasted, I ended up throwing it away. I am very disgusted with them.

I walked up to the counter and asked if there were any peanut-related products used here because my boyfriend is allergic to peanuts. Instead of answering, the person at the counter proceeded to ask for the specific menu item and take the full order. I specified we couldn't buy from here if peanuts were used and he (not very reassuringly) said no. He got teriyaki chicken and I got vegetable yaki soba. The vegetables smelled like death and tasted bad and the noodles were oddly gooey. Boyfriend hasn't touched his food and after one bite neither have I.
