Toppings bar!On a recent trip I decided to give this restaurant a try for the kids. You order a sandwich such as a burger, chicken or fish sandwich. Then they have a toppings bar with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and lots of sauces. The e kids thought it was fun. They also make the buns in house. Dining area is very large. You order at the counter and then pick your own seats. They do walk around and ask to clear the plates when you are done eating. Great for kids or a large group.

Lured into the restaurant by the amazing smell of fresh baked buns. The women at the counter immediately greeted us with a smile. We both ordered the 1/3 pound burger and fries combo. The burgers came out hot and fresh on toasted buns. You then get to dress your burger from the seemingly endless toppings bar. There is a tree decorated white lights that gives you the feeling of a warm summer night.

Fries to bigThis place is amazing. I highly consider the second you walk in. It feels like you're in the 90s and it feels really cool with all the decor and the feel. All the food is really good. The people that serve you are very polite and once you get whatever you want, you can add whatever toppings and sauces you want which I personally think is very cool. Also, the burgers here are the best part. This is my third favorite burger I've ever had and I've tried many burgers before. My only real concern is the french fries in my opinion. I think they're a little too big. I know a lot of people love fries big but it's just not my thing so that's my only concern and overall this place is amazing. Highly recommend.

Service was amazing and quick; buns were so good, not too soft but not too crispy. Fries were ok but not the best. Burger was fantastic and filled us up while the sweet tea was also awesome. Overall great experience that was nostalgic like a time capsule!

It's like stepping back in time, this place has not changed since I was a kid and I LOVE everything about that. The food has been consistently good over the years. The bakery, the toppings bar the tree in the middle. A good place to go for a quick bite to eat. WW. Cousins, please don't ever change.

We'd picked up burgers from WW Cousins a couple of times through the Covid closure, when they created a drive thru experience to keep the store running. This was our first in-person visit since. They had a quiet crowd on Memorial Day and our order was taken right away. As usual, the burger and sides were ready quickly. The toppings bar is included and offers your basics, including pickles and dipping sauces beyond ketchup and mayo. For the 1/3 lb hamburger combo with cheese it's approx. $12.The restaurant seating is in good shape. Some of the older booths have been removed to make room for additional tables. Today the speakers were loud and we chose a table tucked into the sunroom area to muffle the sound a bit. The drink station was a mess, and later I did notice someone was tidying up the area, especially the spilled tea all over the counter. The bathroom was a sadder area with the sinks out of order. I didn't notice when I walked in and appreciated someone had placed hand sanitizer on the counter. Overall, an average experience in atmosphere and food. I think it'll be awhile before we return.

WW cousins is a long time Lousiville Staple located over off DuPont road near the hospitals. Heralded by many in Lousiville as the cities best burger. They have a unique setup. You walk in to the counter and order your burger by the way you want it cooked, sized and dressed with cheese or bacon. Then you are given the burger and go to a massive burger toppings bar with every condiment, topping and sauce you could imagine. The possibilities as endless here. They also make all there burger buns fresh in their bakery and have an on site pastry bakery that makes tasty large cookies and other snacks. The inside decor here is pretty cool. Very large establishment and in the back they have a giant lit up tree that's a popular centerpiece and photo op. Service on my visits here over the years is pretty good. They get the burgers out within moments and the burger toppings bar always sees stocked and tables bussed and clean. Overall ww cousins is a long time staple for a reason. They are good and unique. Whether you like your burger may depend on how you dress it. But the bun and burger they start you off with is always a tasty start.

Everytime I drive on Dupont and pass WW Cousins...my hubs tells me he used to go here all the time when his kids were young and they all loved it. But we would always be rushing to an appt or some other thing and couldn't go. Recently....we finally went and it did not disappoint. Let's start with ambiance....its like stepping back into the late 80's/early 90's. I love the nostalgia of the place....no I haven't been there before but it's like every other burger joint from that era. The burgers are super good and tasty. The condiment bar is fantastic. Serve your drinks is helpful too. I had tater tots and he had fries - good, crunchy, delish.

Retro and casual. Service was fast and easy order at counter and they bring it out. Large dining area. Its casual and family-ish warmth and the burgers cooking smelled amazing. And myself being an iced tea connoisseur I can attest that it was exceptional good!! Our burgers were fantastic!!! A must try when near Breckenridge rd.

My son and I went yesterday to have burger.it taste so good! Great flavor,cooked just right.price is right!
