I have attended two work events at this venue and I really like it. It's a great place for teambuilding because it's not your typical workspace. They are very accommodating and will customize for you as well. You can host all types of events here. When we were leaving, they were setting up for a wedding. It looked beautiful!

WorkShop is a hidden gem of a workspace that is conveniently located for those both downtown and in the Inner ring suburbs. Nestled in Butchertown near Copper and Kings Distillery, WorkShop houses a number of meeting spaces that are ideal for a group brainstorming session or a corporate offsite. I visited recently for a meeting with the Junior League of Louisville and was pleasantly surprised by the space. There are a number of different meeting rooms, and ours was equipped with comfy couches and chairs, large whiteboards and an assortment of markers, jars of snacks (jellybeans, pretzels, licorice, and butter mints), as well as a fridge full of water and soft drinks. We also brought some munchies of our own, which we were able to place out on some tables around the space itself. It was comfortable, well-lit, and a great space to allow us to throw some ideas around. I would highly recommend WoekShop for your next get-together or offsite. You just may find a new favorite place as well!

This was a great space for a small team offsite. They had everything you could think of needing for a meeting facilitation and it was all well organized and stocked! The employees were very considerate of our needs and even brought a small heater to beat the chill! The one downside (4 stars instead of 5) is the lack of food options. We couldn't bring in our lunch and there isn't a ton around. Since parking is a beast, it's not so fun to give up your parking spot to get food either.

Looking for an out of the box meeting space? Look no farther.Located in The Pointe building across from Butchertown Market, this is a really neat place to hold a variety of meetings, interviews, conferences and/or networking events. Basically any professional situation where you want to break down formal pretenses, enable people to feel comfortable and really get some creative juices flowing - this is the workplace for you. There's several different small to medium sized rooms with one larger meeting space but the positive energy in each one is enormous. Each room is themed and filled to the brim with fun gizmoos, gadgets, games, gummy bears and treats galore. Plus, there's a fully stocked fridge with sodas and Roobie Red tea (yes!) plus a hot tea and coffee stash available. Warning: you may leave with a sugar rush.As for the specific rooms, there's there's a nice and relaxing one, called the "zen room" I believe, which is the ideal setting for an interview. Employers without a central office who work from home, take note... Don't interview candidates by inviting them to your creepy basement work space, bring them here! It was my most recent experience there that has inspired me to actually write this review though. The consulting company I work for set up a meeting with some clients to "workshop" and problem-solve through some challenging issues they were facing and it was amazing to see the amount of clarity and insight that this space helped to foster and bring out in everyone. These were ongoing issues previously discussed in a traditional conferencing room but seriously the feeling of weight lifted off of this client's back after spending a few hours there was palpable to everyone in the room.

Came into Louisville for work planning and one of the locals found this as an offsite location for us to meet. The giant brick building it's in is awesome and I enjoyed looking in on the various businesses based out of this location. Workshop is no exception. I think by day they rent it out to companies for team bonding / off site - but at night it looks like it turns into a preschool. Lots of toys everywhere, color on the walls, big comfy chairs and beanbags. Probably not where you'd go to hold your next board meeting, but the sort of place where they encourage conversation and creativity. The staff was very friendly and ensured our coffee was stocked. The fridge had all you can drink soda. Our lunch was catered in (I'm assuming). The only incident I had was that the PDF / directions provided to me had the wrong address. It listed 105 E. Washington, instead of 1205 E. Washington . I'm not sure who made the mistake (it very well could have been an error on our side), but I did wander around in the Humana building trying to find this place - only I was off by 5 miles.
