Being from out of town -We were trying to find a skate park to run off a bit of energy for our 13 year old.We were very impressed with the area. Lots of parking, restroom (portable restroom), plenty of area to skate with ramps, drop ins, and a few rails. Also, included several covered shelters for picnicking. There were an array of all different ethnicities , age groups, and all different levels of riding levels.Overall, great find!

The name is auspicious, but the park is more of a down home neighborhood kind of space, offering tennis courts, a pool, and several other athletic facilities. The green space is sufficient for the occasional summer event. It's easy to park in the area but it's also very integrated to the surrounding neighborhood and walkable. It's common to see people playing tennis under the nights after dark. I never use the pool, but it's a nice park.

I came over here the other day and this homeless man was hanging out on the gazebo and was all like, "ay" and then I was all like ayyyyyooooooooooo.I came across a skunk in the middle of the night a couple of months ago. It was a little cutie. Got sprayed too. The playground is cool. Their pool is really nice. It's got a new pirate ship and shit like that. Daddies hang out there too.

This is a really cute park near downtown! We went here for a small event going on and it was so lively! There are so many amenities to this park. They have a very large pool area, skate park, baseball field and a children's playground. During our visit they had a DJ, which was held in a big gazebo. There were beer tents and food trucks, and overall it was just a really fun environment to hang out in! The location is tucked inside a neighborhood of old historic homes, so everything is just really pretty here.

This is great park to walk, swim (during the Summer), play tennis, skate, and a lot of other activities. There are so many things to do. Also, there are many festivals held here, too. There is limited parking with more parking on the street.

Such a fun park, for all ages. There is a fun playground that is shaded under the trees (amazing!). There is a public pool, which is closed due to COVID, but looks like it would be a blast. There are several tennis courts and lots of grassy area to hang out. Loved seeing people walking their dogs.

If you were to ask Lexingtonians which park is the "arts park", then they would say Woodland Park., partially because of the big Woodland Arts Fair, a juried art fair held each August, but partially because of it simply hosts a lot of art happenings. The gazebo is a spot that often serves as a venue for local musicians, especially if there is another arts event held simultaneously. Ballet Under the Stars is another outdoor event held in August. The city purchased several console pianos and one is placed at Woodland Park for the public to use. It's located under a pavilion by the playground. The skate park is also here; it's very busy with lots of skateboarders in the warmer months. Softball field is busy, as is one of the remaining public pools in Lex. Some genius decided to close most of the public pools a few years ago, by Woodland still has one. It's known for the pirate ship. An eclectic crowd abounds.

This park is a great size and they have a nice playground as well as a pool (but I've never used it), skate park area, tennis courts, a baseball field and probably more. The bathrooms are almost always dirty to the point of the being gross which is a big strike against it (especially given the VERY high number of young children who come here), and also pretty small. That's my only significant complaint. It can feel a little rough at times, but we've never had a problem with anybody in the park.

This is a park located near down town. I only come here for the Art festival and volleyball. It is a very large and clean park. There are plenty of parking places around it. There is a baseball field, a pool, wings, tennis courts, hand ball courts, basketball courts, and much more. It is always clean and quite. One of the best places in downtown to see wildlife and hang out in the shade while relaxing. The last time I stopped in here was for a grass volleyball tournament. It was well laid out and a great place to get some exercise with a large group of people. Stop on in if you are looking for a place to take a break or enjoy nature.
