What a fun, beautiful, knowledgeable, entertaining wine shop! I visited Wine Shop recently for their trivia night and showing of "You've Got Mail." While I haven't seen this movie in decades, I'm always in for a niche-themed event. And this one was great and lively with fun questions, screening on the patio and themed gift pack. If you see a themed event on the calendar at Wine Shop, go to it!And this quirkiness fits with the rest of the shop as well, with a curated selection of wine to buy by the bottle or glass, bright and colorful interior and fun food options, ranging from cheese boards to a one-of-a-kind instant ramen snack.Lauren, one of the owners, is knowledgeable about wine and so fun to chat with. I'm really looking forward to coming back here!

Met up with a couple of friends for some wine on a Thursday evening. Lauren poured a few wines for us to taste. We decided to split a bottle of rose. One of favorite things about this place is Lauren & Jason, the owners. They are always super kind and welcoming. They know their products - from vineyard to your glass - they know it all & they make it fun to learn about. They just recently opened their patio out back! Woo hoo! It's spacious & offers various types of seating & is super cute. They also recently started to serve frosé (frozen rosé) just in time for the hottest part of summer!

I'm an aspiring wine connoisseur with an extremely long way to go and with a very immature taste in wine. Was meeting some friends here for some pre-dinner drinks. Overwhelmed by the selection of wines I asked the lovely employee for a recommendation. She asked back what kind of wines do I like. I replied "I want it to taste like juice." She knew exactly what to do and what to get me. While I hope you have better taste in wine than me, I'm sure you will find something that you like here, or I'm sure the staff will be able to recommend something for you. The atmosphere is very nice and laid back, the perfect spot for those pre-dinner drinks. I'd definitely recommend this place!

We briefly stopped into the Wine Shop back in November during the Jingle Walk, and I have been wanting to go back and actually sit and enjoy a glass of wine or two Last night we stopped and sat at the bar. The owners are so nice!! I told her I liked sweet wines and she gave me a taste of a sweet white and a sweet red. Both were good but I preferred the white. From there you can either get a half glass or a full glass. It's adorable inside and has a great ambiance. They also have little books that you can write down which wines you liked and leave there for the next time! We will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

Went to the Wine Shop before dinner the other night. It is basically a wine bar where you can try a sip of wine before buying a glass or bottle. They serve mostly Wines that are not fromOur area such as European and California wines. The owners are very knowledgeable and it is a nice area to sit and sip.Nice wine bar to visit.

Ever since I visited Bacchanal in New Orleans, I've been wishing for a local wine shop where I could taste wines - and buy a glass before a bottle. The Wine Shop offers both - and small bites to eat as you sip. It's kind of like sitting in a friend's kitchen and telling them what you like or don't like and then having them make a recommendation and pour you a taste - before the full glass. If you really like it, you can buy the whole bottle to take home or just to sip on with friends in the shop. The owners - Jason and Robin - are transplants to the area and have settled nicely into New Albany. I hope they are successful and able to expand into an outdoor area this spring. Highly recommend this spot.

I would give this establishment 4 stars for ambiance. It's a cool little place. The hostess was attentive. I loved the wine I have had there, BUT we bought a $20 bottle of wine and were shocked when we checked out with a $20 cork fee. We bought the wine there, drank the wine there and they added in the tip since it was a party of 7, an extra charge for using a credit card and so our $20 bottle ended up costing $64....
