Local chef Ouita Mikel, well known to our food community, has partnered with Fasig Tipton here in Lexington. She has brought her Windy Corner to the world renowned thoroughbred auction house. The small space is adjacent to the walking rings, with large glass windows allowng for views of both. There is also a patio area with tables. Fare is casual and brings a limited menu of breakfast and lunch items from her Paris location. Open during the sales, consignors can also grab-and-go. The Seattle Slew Room offers a buffet for $20.00. In addition, Ouita provides catering for events held on the property. With easy access and quick service, you can keep up with the horses throughout the sales.

Ordered the nachos with their signature chili- the entire dish was served cold (not luke warm but cold) and did not come with the guacamole or sour cream that were listed on the menu. Ended up eating half of my husbands so-so sandwich and throwing my lunch away.
