Wildcat Mattress

Wildcat Mattress gets an A++. Customer service was excellent (I worked with Robert). Awesome selection - from basic to high end, there are so many options. Robert was patient while I tried multiple mattresses and worked through my decision-making process. I did not feel rushed or pressured.I opted for a higher end mattress that I've owned in the past, Aireloom, and so far I'm glad I did. The cost is not insignificant, but I was happy with the price and the deal Wildcat made me. They delivered the very next day and the guys were great.This is an awesome local business and worth bypassing all the other chain stores. Glad I did. And it doesn't get much better than doing business with other KY Wildcat fans!Highly recommend. Head toward Nicholasville and they're easy to find.

What a difference one store can make. Buying a mattress has to be one of the hardest things I've ever done... it's so confusing, you can't compare from store to store, and half the time it seems like I'm getting ripped off but I can't even tell. It sure felt different going to Wildcat!Robert and Casey are so knowledgeable, they were willing to walk me through every step of the process, listen to the way I sleep and the problems with my current setup. I felt really taken care of, and I'm getting the best sleep I've had in years. I knew I needed a new mattress, but the pillows they helped me pick out have also been a huge improvement. I'll never shop anywhere else, that's for sure.

I am not exaggerating when I say I looked at mattresses in 14 different stores and spent at least an additional 20 hours doing research online within one week in an effort to find a mattress that will last us longer than 5 years (or at least longer than the 1 year that our most recent Sealy lasted before one of the sides completely collapsed due to poor workmanship). We didn't wind up buying from Wildcat Mattress. We drove 5 hours to buy directly from a small factory, BUT if I hadn't found that little factory, or if I wanted to buy something in the Lexington area, this is without a doubt the only store for me. Every other mattress or furniture store in town has an incredibly limited selection of brands, and will try to tell you why the brands they carry are the best and why they are the best seller of the brands they carry, but no one I spoke to seemed to really understand what was in their products beyond coil counts (and most didn't even know this simple information). One sales person contacted someone from the manufacturer for me to try to find specifics about coil gauge and foam density and layers, but as I have grown to expect, this was "proprietary" information.... as if I could go out and buy the parts to assemble a Sterns and Foster myself! Wildcat Mattress, on the other hand, carried common mattress brands as well as brands I had only read about during my extensive online research and some brands I hadn't heard of at all. More importantly than the brands, Robert is extremely knowledgeable about his many products. If you walk in and say, "I'm looking for a firm latex over pocketed coil inner spring," he introduces you to several possibilities with a wide range of prices. I have no doubt that if you walk in and say, "I just want a really soft mattress," that he would be just as helpful. He is knowledgeable enough to be able to provide customers with whatever level of information they want or need. I cannot recommend Wildcat Mattress highly enough.
