Great food, don't sleep on this great place right in our backyard! Waited a bit, but it was more than worth it. Fried fish had flavor with a perfect crisp. My wife really enjoyed the jack daniels wings.

Excellent. The Mac n cheese, the Po Boy, green boys - it's all outstanding. It's literally like I'm at a cook out at home.

Sooooo good!!! I need more Buffalo Lemen Pepper Sauce!!! Fries are good too!!! Good home cooking. Don't bypass this restaurant. The food reminds me of home. Very good food!

Loved this spot with an impressive menu, from fried fish, BBQ, and shellfish and much more, I'll be back until I try the entire menu. The rib tips were juicy and full of flavor. Next time I have to try some fish and those delicious looking fries.

Ordered garlic parm and lemon pepper wings with cheese fries. While nothing was absolutely terrible it's definitely not the quality I was expecting from such a highly rated restaurant on yelp. Cheese fries was basically barely melted sliced cheese and bacon bits; the lemon pepper wings had very little seasoning to it. The garlic parmesan wings were decent but having the wings breaded threw me off initially. I probably wouldn't order the wings or fries again.

Recommend this local BBQ spot. Stopped in and tried the rib combo plate. Ribs are seasoned well and have a good smoke ring. Side dishes were good. Bundt cake slice was a nice touch. Staff is friendly and ready to assist with any questions. There is more than BBQ on the menu, the wings are also popular. Service is not quick, so be patient, the food is worth it. Restaurant has run out of things which is alright to try different things. Parking is plentiful outside and plenty of room on the interior.

OMG, I want to eat this food EVERYDAY! I only tried a few things on my way through but wish I was local to try the whole menu. He and his staff were so awesome and love what they do. I feel like he would DATE YOU to find food better than his. I don't know that it exists in that region. Thank you so much!

Just happen to stumble upon this place leaving Knox and was definitely surprised of how good it was. The brisket was a bit dry but the tri tip and sides were on point. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go back the next time I'm here.

This is definitely a hidden gem! You feel the love and hospitality as soon as you walk in. The decorations are telling of Louisiana, which is welcoming! Lastly, the food!!! I got the rib tips, greens and yams. Everything was super flavorful and tender. My husband got the Mac and cheese with honey chicken and then he added the blue cheese!!! Everything was so darn delicious and definitely gave southern cuisine. Don't walk, run! Next time, and there will be a next time, I'll post pics!

Food was delicious and staff friendly. The place needs to be cleaned and organized but I think they just moved in to the new location.
