Whisper Valley Riding Stables

Highly recommended.Troy was passionate about his job. He was he was very experienced and helpful.I had a 7 year old and my partner was not very experienced but even on his own he was engaged.The horses all have their own character and this is not your normal ride.Definitely a place do go if you are in the Red River Gorge area

This is as good as it gets if your looking to ride horses near Red River Gorge. When my family and I arrived Andrea and Troy already had the horse prepped and ready to go. They were very attentive to us and talked to us about how to ride horses in the forest. I'd ridden horses before but learned more from Troy in 10 minutes than I had in any of my other riding experiences. After covering the safety issues and basic riding do's and don'ts we were on the trail.We opted for a two-hour tour but Andrea and Troy will also conduct 1 and 3 hour tours. During our ride both Andrea and Troy were personable and engaging. I caught myself thinking I'd like to hand out with these two sometime...they were that cool!!During our ride we rode up to a large waterfall, rode along and through a creek, and saw a large cliff/cave that had been excavated by researches who found Indian artifacts. I can't recommend Whisper Valley Riding Stables highly enough.

We had the absolute best time riding with Andrea at Whisper Valley Trails. Andrea had our horses all ready to go, and moved us around to make sure we had the best horse for each rider. Our 7 year old niece got to ride independently on the sweetest horse they had, and she had an absolute blast. Andrea took us on a great trail ride, told us about the history of the area, and even stopped by a waterfall to let us take some pictures! We had the greatest time, and will definitely be visiting Whisper Valley again in the future!

I'm envious of others having wonderful experiences. My family has been excited to come here but we share the same awful experience as others in the reviews - zero website, email or work phone. Only two personal phone lines with voice-mail boxes always full for the last 2 months. This company is so disorganized it's embarrassing that we tried so hard to reach out. Created a Google account and decided to post on Yelp just so I could spare others the headache. Owners, be responsible and do better.
